great value & quality handgun

Great little pistol i love it

I have been wanting a Bulldog for many years. It's the perfect size and weight to carry concealed. I cleaned and oiled it, and ran 60 rounds through it without the common issues that have been mentioned online. Buds did a fantastic job as always processing my order and shipping it to the FFL.

This is my 3rd revolver and it’s a fun one to shoot. Ammo can be scarce but Buds has it in stock! Lots of fun at the range with this. If you like shooting a .38 special you will likely enjoy this gun as well

This Charter Arms .44 Special Stainless Steel revolver is superbly designed and put together. The recoil-absorbent grip gives extra comfort when firing the powerful loads available. The fit-to-finish is flawless with no gaps or overlapping of components. It is small, relatively light in weight, and a beautiful, potent friend to have on hand in the home or out and about. Back in the 1980's I bought one of the original, first Bulldog .44's, but it carried a very thin, Walnut grip that was pretty, but recoil was serious. This new version is a huge improvement in hold and recoil. The cylinder is narrow enough to be very concealable, and light enough in weight to be carried all day long, while being a vey potent in a defense situation. Sharpsguy

Great compact pistol with a lot of punch, very different recoil, but easily managable

Had an old friend that owned a Blue 44 Bulldog... haven't seen one in years. A lot of bang for the buck,once I found rounds for it..a little cheaper to shoot and a heck of a lot easier on the wrist. Thanks Buds.

Not pleased with this weapon. It’s an inexpensive weapon, and the finish is not as that of other quality firearms, but it does function properly. I had one similar to it several years ago and I remember it to have been, cosmetically, of better quality.

Always been a fan of the 44 and this revolver has met my exception. It really surprised me of its quality. The finish on it is not as good as a S&W or Ruger, but the trigger is. Really like this gun!

I never had any failure to fires,but it went out of time very quickly. Would make a good truck gun but is not what I call high quality.

Hard to find ammo but fun to shoot. Ended up selling it after a while because ammo was too expensive for it for what you are getting.

A real fun gun. Recoil is a little stiff, but definitely manageable. Had a lot of fun with it.

Great little pistol. Picked it up on Thursday, and went to the range on Friday. Shot 85 rounds with no issues.

This is a good firearm, but it kicks a little to much for my taste. This is a powerful gun! It will get the job done. Thanks buds for a smooth transaction as always.

Great gun for its price point. Works every time, but dont expect the fit and finish of a S&W......

This is a great quality revolver made in the USA. The Charter As Bulldog 44 special is one of my favorite revolvers. Always great service and fast shippimg from Buds.

Excellent revolver. Charter Arms makes a quality firearm at a reasonable price. I have a number of them and none have disappointed me yet.

The purchasing process from Buds is always the best. Products are delivered in a timely fashion. The Charter Arms bulldog is very light with a soft trigger. I am going to really enjoy the range with this one.

I love this revolver. Easy to shoot in either DA or SA. Easy to conceal. Tons of firepower, so even with the 5 round capacity, I don’t feel (and I know I’m not) vulnerable or under armed. Expensive cartridge to shoot, but buy a box of 50 and pace yourself and it’s not bad. Would recommend and purchase again.

I have a 44 magnum lever action Rossi rifle and this was so I have a hand gun with a 44 SP caliber. I reload my ammo so this was easy with the die I have for 44 caliber. I am in the
process of waiting to receive my 44 BullDog from my FFL when the state OK the transfer to me. I hope to pick up my gun up by the 10 day waiting period? This is the 3rd purchase
with Buds Gun Shop this year. I purchased a 44 Magnum Rossi rifle, a Rock Island 45 ACP 5 inch and now the 44 SP Bull Dog with Charter arms. I'm reload my 44 SP brass so I can
test fire my Bull Dog 44 Special. I have purchase several rifle and hand guns thru Buds Gun Shop and found the lowest price on the internet then local gun shop here in California.

Fast and easy check out. Fast delivery to my FFL. However, the recoil shields show excessive grinding/sanding. I would like to have a replacement gun but, I don't know if I should take this up with Buds or Charter Arms. Otherwise great prices on a huge inventory.

Way over priced. Would not recommend. cylinder release needed tweaked to work proper.
