excellent gun I highly recommend

I ordered this Stainless 2 Kimber , received it and it had no 3 dot sights, Called several people at Buds but no help at all. Not happy with my weapon. Poor customer service. Will never buy another Kimber product .And will tell all my friends about this. I took a photo of the Buds listing for this weapon. And the listing clearly states 3 dot sights. False advertisement period. Hope none of you ran into this buying a weapon.

Excellent pistol I use for hone defense . Bring it out one a year for familiarization and cleaning. Never a miss fire. Trust of Kimber products. My co concealed carry is a matching Micro 380.

The Kimber Stainless II 1911 is as advertised. Very nice fit and finish. I shot 200 rounds the first time I took her to the range and had no issues. Just got back from the range. I took the 45 caliber Kimber 1911, a Sig Sauer, Remington and Double Star (all 1911s) along with a Springfield XD and CZ 97B, all 45 caliber. In our view (my buddy and I), the Double Star takes 1st place followed closely by the CZ and the Kimber. Don't get me wrong, the XD and Remington are good pistols also but, the Double Star shines out of the group. I do like the Kimber a lot. The Double Star is a new pistol from Buds also. This is the 6th or 7th transaction I have had with Buds and it is always a pleasure dealing with them. I give this pistol a 4 rating. It would have received a 5 if the Double Star wasn't so well built and accurate.

Damn! Shipping was fast! Even paying by check is fast, right at 5 days as promised. I had mine sent to the FFL near me. I went down and started the 10 day waiting, but was able to hold the gun. The gun felt awesome and was ooooh-so pretty. I have 5 more guns on order from buds and I have no concerns or worries. I did at first being I have never bought one online, but all that is out the window. Thank you Buds for making is possible to get the guns and rifles my LGS does not have.

This gun feels very high quality.I have about 200 rounds through this gun with no malfunctions.Gun seems to shoot high but not sure if its me or the sights.This is my first 1911 and so far so good. My only problem is the all black sights probly going to change them out.

I have owned this pistol for about a year know and I would say it is the best handgun I have ever used. This is not the highest grade 45 ACP Kimber offers but it functions as if it were. The only issue I have had was an occasional jam probably 4 times in 500 rounds using Winchester ammo. The friends I've let shot it agree.

Beautiful pistol. Fit and finish are what you would expect from a production custom. My Stainless II was very tight out of the box. No way could I release the slide without using my left hand in a "reverse straddle " thumb down motion. It took over 3 hundred rounds before it broke in. ($$$) A good cleaning and light oil lube and she is now smooth and slick. Cleaning the pistol was fun. My first cleaning was just a boresnake. The second cleaning was a full field strip. The 1911 is trickier than most semi autos, but if you take it step by step, you realize it's not that big a deal to take down. The stainless II feeds and ejects everything I loaded. New Federal 45acp fmj, quality fmj reloads and a few rounds of hollow points. The gun is accurate and shoots tight groups especially when handled by a good shooter. I know many folks have issues with Kimber, but this a fine pistol. Everyone who handles it comments on the quality.

I TOOK THIS GUN TO THE RANGE AND FOUND IT TO SHOOT A VERY TIGHT ALSO HANDLED MYRELOADS. BUDS PRICES ARE VERY GOOD.
