Overall, I was completely satisfied with this firearm. I've only put a few hundred rounds through it so far, but I've had no problems yet. The gun did ship bone dry, so I gave it a shot of lube before the first firing. I've found this to be good practice with revolvers anyway. The relatively low weight means the recoil with magnum loads is fairly stout, but the grips provide a lot of traction and are well shaped to keep the trigger guard from bashing your knuckle. If you have very long fingers(as I do), a grip that's a little larger front-to-back might be preferred. The trigger pull is pretty heavy, but the trigger itself is very wide and smooth so it wasn't uncomfortable to use. In short, it feels like a well built tool that's up to the intended task. It doesn't feel like a target pistol, but the action is smooth and the accuracy is more than fine.

Very well made, light weight, accurate, very good trigger, single action at about 4-5 lbs, double action at about 9-10 lbs. Great fit and finish, nice grips and sight picture. Fast shipping and a great price.

I rate Buds five stars plus. The 44 Tracker one star. I have several Trackers T-41 Mag - SS 41 T-45 acp all 3 are great guns but this Track quality is not even close to the other three. I’m getting ready to send it off for an action job, polish the cylinders I shot 44 spl and I had to driven them out with a punch. The cylinders are way too tight. Taurus please pay more attention to your products. If this had been my first Taurus I would never purchase one again.

Great 44 mag! No regrets buying this Taurus. Love the adjustable sights and ported barrel. Have put about 250 rounds through it and still looks and shoots like new.

Thankfully you get the grip style in the first picture, I was worried as there are 3 other pictures on the same listing with different grips. I have not shot it yet but fit and finish look great, the front sight is very bright. Crisp trigger. Solid lock up. All in all no complaints here. I did a great job as usual!

This revolver is well made, carries well; in short - a solid investment value wise AND a reliability factor that rivals more expensive choices. You can buy a lot of ammo with the saving$.... This is a "should buy".

overall it’s exactly what I was expecting. Shoots fairly soft for a 44 mag with the ported barrel. You can definitely feel the power of this thing in your chest when you’re letting off rounds. Plan to carry it in a shoulder holster when elk hunting this year as a back up.

Shoots very well, not as much kick as I thought there would be in .44 Mag. Carries well in a chest holster. Got it for shooting a bear with bad intentions at three feet. Hope to just carry it around a lot without ever using it!!!

I have been looking for a little bit more stopping power from a handgun to take with me while hunting. I have been looking at the Taurus Tracker.44 for a while. I saw it for a great price at Bud's and had to have it. I took it to the range this weekend and absolutely loved it. I was extremely impressed at how accurate it shoots, especially due to the fact that there was substantially more recoil than I usually shoot. I was however shooting 240 grain .44 magnum shells, so of course I expected it. I am extremely happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend this pistol!!! John S.

Been looking at this gun for quite some time the Taurus tracker 44 my local gun shop had one in stock but it was black and that's not the one I was wanting buds gun had the stainless satin that I was wanting for less than the one that was at my local gun shop thanks again Bud's guns looking forward to my next purchase

Fit and finish your excellent. gun functions as advertised. It is a relatively soft shooter with 44 special. but it is a handful with full magnum loads.

This would definitely be my sidearm for hunt out west, not to heavy and not to big with a lot of punch. That being said, hang on tight to this thing, it's a handful to shoot, at least for me.
