This Ruger 45 LC is a really beautiful gun. I added some real buffalo grips to the gun that I think adds to the beauty of the gun. The gun is shiny and the grips are shiny. It looks like a real cowboy gun to me which is what I was looking for. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Been to the range twice now. Tight groups and smooth trigger. It's a joy to shoot. You can't go wrong with a Ruger.

It a beautiful pistol, it a Ruger... feels heavy (that is a good thing for a 45 LC) the action is smooth and crispy..shoot straight to blank, I removed the trigger and hammer, sent it to golden it and put back... Now is one of my most precious possessions, one of those that my daughter going to inherit. About Budsgunshop good service as usual, no regrets to continue doing business with them. Get the Ruger..if you have a chance.

There is a problem with the pricing. This is not a $5k wheel gun. Paid much less here.
Great Ruger Cowboy action revolver. Completely reliable and easy to handle. Shoots well. Accurate. As accurate as these old eyes can be. can carry open or concealed here so at times I carry with a cowboy rig when riding my motorcycle. Highly recommend but not at $5000 dollars. That means I have a $3800K profit if sold which I never will sell. !

I have had this gun 3 years now and it has become my favorite shooter, The only down side is the cost of ammunition but even with that it is one great gun

This was my first 45LC. I have thoroughly enjoyed shooting this pistol. You must be careful with ur ammo tho, it’s not made to shoot the heavy duty stuff like the Blackhawks an such. I’ve shot several cowboy loads with no issues, but lots of fun..

Review for .45 Colt, 5.5 Inch Staineless New Vaquero:
Lovely revolver that shoots as good as it looks. The New Vaquero has the same ruger quality that one comes to expect from their revolvers. Although scaled down to Colt SAA size and not rated for Ruger Only Loads, it's nothing to scoff at because Standard Pressure .45 Colt is more than adequate in performance. Point of aim is natural and accuracy is incredible, I was amazed at the super-tight groups!). This is just a fun gun to shoot, the point of aim, balance, and rugged build makes it a revolver that is to be shot often without fear of parts wearing out. It's no wonder it's beloved by the Cowboy Action Shooting community as the golden standard revolver. If you are looking for a single action in .45 Colt to shoot often (NOT a "Safe Queen") then look no further than the New Vaquero.

This Ruger Vaquero single action revolver truly lived up to my expectations. 357 magnum versions were often out of stock, and the 45 long colt was more often in stock. I probably would have gotten the 357 magnum had it been in stock at the time, but I ended up going with the 45 long colt. Turned out to be a great decision. Given how much weight this gun has already, adding even more via the 357 version is not something I'd welcome. I really like the 45 colt version, nice big fat caliber, and weighs a good 4-5 ounces less than the 357!! Big upside for me. Beautiful gun. With this gun, I crossed the 'revolver' 'single-action' and '45 caliber' boxes off my gun bucket list. I wanted this gun, partially for practicing the skill of gun-spinning. Anyone who may in interested in this aspect, you should feel good about getting this version, it's nicely balanced for gun spinning. The slightly shorter 4.7-4.8" barrel may be a little better for spinning, but the 5.5" is a good compromise between size, weight, and balance. No regrets getting this gun. Feel great to hold it, very natural. Feels very sturdy. Feels like a piece of history. American style single action revolver.Only problem, is that now I really want to get a second one. You can tell the high quality of this revolver just by looking at/handling it. Nice quality revolvers like this are really expensive these days. Can't think of anything wrong with this gun. Highly recommended.

My very first old school revolver. I am certainly no expert with this type of firearm. Having said that, it appears to be well built and is a gorgeous gun. Buds as always was great.

Fantastic single action revolver. Beautiful gun, I was especially impressed with how nice the wood grip was. So nice I'm not replacing it. Shoots point of aim. The action is smooth and the stock trigger crisp. I tried several different types and brands of ammo out of it. It liked the Hornady 225 grain LeverRevolution the best (sub 2" group at 25 yards). Service from Bud's was great. Go buy one!

Beautiful gun allthough the Finnish around the front sight didn't get polished well enough at the factory. Its Very dull. That aside I do love it. Too bad that 45 colt ammo is so expensive. I like shooting this gun

Well, all I can say about the service Bud's provides is AWESOME. Ordered .45 Stainless Vaquero on layaway.Paid it off early and less than 4 days after the money cleared I have my weapon. Outstanding! Thanks. The Vaquero arrived as advertised in pristine condition. Can't wait to pair it with my other one and go gunning at the range! If this one fires as well as my other Vaquero Stainless .45 I'll save ammo at the range and can start shooting horseback sooner than expected.

I went down to start the 10 day waiting period and pay my fees at my local FFL dealer. I picked up the gun to look it over and she was pretty. My husband thinks she is a work-of-art and I'm sure he will be shooting it more than me. Great gun and experience with Buds. This was the first gun from Buds I had shipped to my FFL in Cali. I was blown away by how fast the shipping was. I did have my reservations on ordering online but Buds has tossed all that out the window. I have 5 more guns coming from buds and I look forward to getting them. My husband picks up his Kimber 1911 tomorrow from the same FFL dealer.
