This rifle is GREAT! It had a real tight group at 100 yards 3 shots were fired by 3 different people and the grouping was awsome to say the least. Would recomend great buy!

If you have doubts about this gun, don't. It is amazing, mine shot excellent groups at 75 yards with factory Federal ammo. The stock is just fine and quite comfortable and the trigger is crisp, no matter what other reviews might say. Perfect to tote in the woods or at the range. Bud's is fast and easy. Get one you won't be sorry.

Good cheap gun thats easy to modify into a great gun. Upgraded to boyds thumbhole stock and modified the bolt. Good value.

I love these Stevens rifles. They are the centerfire version of the Ruger 10/22. Sell off the stock and barrel and upgrade to a match barrel and aftermarket stock and you can build a custom rifle for less than $700. With the sporter barrel these are great packing rifles . Pick up a few.. for $250, why not.
