Great ammo. You can't beat Hornady. Good accuracy from my Mossberg 500 rifled slug barrel. Pricing at Bud's is very good also. Will be buying again.

The Hornady SST Sabot slugs arrived in the usual fashion, fast and secure. I haven’t had a chance to shoot any of them yet because I just now got the mount put on my rifled Remington 870. I bought them on the recommendation of one of my best friends who shoots them exclusively for feral hogs. In his Mossberg, he is confident to 100 yards on hogs. He said it puts them down within 20/30 yards. We strive for quick kills with no hogs lost and I’m certain these slugs will do that.

I bought 100 rounds of this stuff and for 100 rounds I had to strike my sabots twice. Won’t ever buy these again. Shooting federal power shock sabots now

Inconsistent rounds......horrible

I have been using these on wild hogs for some time now and they are pure poison! Everything I have shot with them has been one shot kills. Take note: these are designed for rifled barrels only. But out of my Remington 870 rifles barrel they are very accurate to 100 yds. I have not tried them beyond that range. Also, these are not for the faint of heart as the recoil from a benchrest is quite brutal.
