Accurate. Reliable. Not very ergonomic. The grip was surprisingly smooth. Just kinda meh.......

This is my second P-09, sold my first and regretted it. Wow, what a great gun! First and foremost, the accuracy is excellent, probably the most accurate of all my handguns. Out of the box, I was printing 2-inch groups at 25 yards easily. The ergos are fantastic. Grip feels like it belongs in my hand. I didn't install any of the backstraps, just put on some Talon grips and that did the trick. Recoil is minimal. Having a low bore axis, thanks to the slide riding INSIDE the frame, this pistol is like shooting a .22; it's that smooth. Cycled 100 rounds out of the box without a hiccup. CZ makes first-rate firearms and its handguns are second to none. As for Buds, once again, as I have many times previously, I appreciate the competitive pricing, the excellent customer service and the convenient layaway plan. I'm sure most know the quality of CZ pistols. This P-09 was my first. Maybe too large for carry but just what you're hoping for the range or home defense. Light recoil, high capacity and very reliable!

Still breaking this gun in but so far so good. 150 rounds of brass and steel-cased ammo and no hiccups. Took awhile to sight in as it shot high out of the box, but holding at six o'clock put me in the center ring from 15 yards most of the time. I've owned CZ's in the past and was expecting a lot and wasn't disappointed. Quality is first-rate. Felt recoil was minimal. The trigger was a bit gritty at first but smoothed out after about 50 rounds. This P-09 came with a slide safety which I prefer over the decocker on the other CZ P-09 shown on this site. As for Bud's, once again appreciate the good customer service and fast shipping.
