I was having problems with this Bersa Thunder 380 every time I used it, it jams a lot, and not at all dependable, I sold it back to bud's rather than keeping a undependable gun.

When in town this is my carry weapon. I like the safety and the balance. It fits well in my hand. A real joy at the range to shoot and easy to carry.

I actually purchased this Bersa from Bud's several years ago and was my EDC for a long time. I've since moved on to other modern pistols but still retain this one as a backup. I still enjoy taking it to the range and after an initial break in, it has operated flawlessly.

This is a great little handgun, based on the Walther PPK design. I've had the gun for many years now, it's still fun to shoot. When I bought mine, the price was very low, a great starter for folks looking for a small handgun.

It's my wife's carry, she loves it. I have enjoyed some range time with it. Simply, a lot of bang for the buck. A very good choice if you're looking... Joseph Britz , Big Pine Key Florida, 33043

One of my favorite guns of all time! Fits great in your hand, conceals easy, and recoil is smooth. I’ve probably purchased 15 different handguns in search of perfect combination and concealable and accurate, and this is as close as I could get. 5 of 5 stars!

Love this pistol and added a crimson trace grip laser on it. Shoots very accurate and is very easy to conceal

This gun is a joy to shoot. The grip feels great in the hand and since it’s all steel the recoil is very easy to manage. I could shoot this all day. It’s also incredibly reliable. Never had any FTE or FTF.

I like the Bersa Thunder 380 enough that I bought a second one. Really good shooting handguns with only one thing I dislike. I am 80 years old and I have difficulty putting rounds into the magazine. I have had failures with the slide not remaining open after the last round in the magazine was fired. I stretched the magazine spring and that seems to have resolved the problem. Easy to conceal and light weight enough to be a comfortable carry. I liked the 380s enough that I bought a 40 cal Bersa. Not very impressed with the 40.

First off. I've ordered guns from Buds on several occasions and each transaction was very smooth and the delivery from keyboard to my FFL was within 3 days. I am extremely pleased with my Bersa Thunder 380. It has been 100% reliable straight out of the box. Recoil is very manageable and nowhere near as punishing as some of my micro 380's. I do recommend purchasing the wrap around rubber grip. Those grips make a great gun even better. To date I've put thru about 300 rounds and it is now my primary EDC.

Did not like gun, many stovepipes, also safety did not always engage fully. After several times to local gunsmith, decided to trade it in.

Got for my daughter - points and shoots well - blow back so it has a little recoil - picky about ammo - need to find a brand that works and stick with it -

Took a while to get this gun. My order got cancelled 3 times before I finally got one. Apparently it is a feeding frenzy when a few becomes available. Anyway I love the gun. Accuracy is very good, much better than the little "pocket" 380's. The extra weight and longer barrel results in quicker follow up shots. The 3 dot sights also help. The one thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the finish on the gun. It scratches VERY easily. Despite that this gun is a real bargain at the price I paid for it. I have had no hiccups of any kind shooting it. It feels good, shoots accurately and dependably. I definitely recommend this gun.

The magazine follower is the piece of metal/plastic that you push your first bullet on to when loading your magazine. It sits on top of the magazine spring. The magazine follower that came with this black Bersa Thunder .380 was angular and plastic. When the slide was locked open after the last round fired and the magazine release button was pressed, the magazine would NOT drop out of the gun and when the magazine was pulled out of the gun the slide would slam forward. NOT GOOD. I sent an email to Eagle Imports (who handle Bersa in the U.S.) concerning this problem. Within eight days of Eagle's receipt of my email I had a metal, round-nosed magazine follower (the same kind used in my nickel, Bersa Thunder .380) via the U.S. mail. I installed the new, metal, round-nosed magazine follower into the magazine of my black Bersa Thunder .380. IT WORKED GREAT! Eagle Imports deserves five stars for listening to this customer. Hooyah! Since then, I only have shot about 120 rounds through this black Bersa Thunder .380...and it functions very well. My suggestion is to buy the nickel, Bersa Thunder .380 as that gun came with the metal follower...it has been EXCELLENT (200 rounds). As usual, Bud's was good to work with. Keep attacking!

Ordered the gun on Wednesday and my FFL called on Friday. Fastest I've ever received an order from Buds. This was the week before Christmas and was a guaranteed delivery item. I've owned Bersa pistols before and knew I wouldn't be disappointed and I'm not. It's a great little shooter for my daughter-in-law. Thanks Buds.

Took less than a week to arrive... I have been reading great reviews on this bersa for months... Finally pulled the trigger, and hit a bullseye! What a magnificent piece of machinery for 271$.... Opposed to some reviews mine was quite dry and required an oiling but is smooth as silk. Love the feel of the grips! Would definitely trust my life with this modern improvement on a classic design(I mean come on, it's James' bonds' gun!!!) buds was great and extremely fast. Buy this gun

I really like this Bersa .380. I've always bought Smith & Wesson, but this is a great buy. Very accurate, I think due to the fixed barrel. I would recommend this for anyone. Low recoil, no jamming after over 300 fires.

Bought this back in Aug of 2015, thanks again BUDS. The finish could be better. I'm not sure why they made the grips thick (1.25 wide overall) . On arrival, It was rather dirty/oily and needed a through cleaning before shooting of course. That being said, I really like the SA/DA action of this gun and it has a nice weighty feel. My wife likes shooting it as well. Break-down is a snap and the de-cocker is an additional plus. 300 MAGTECH FMJ Rounds & 100 HPR JHP rounds later and only 1 FTL (3rd mag load). Shooting 3" groups @ 7 yds consistantly & that's good for me. I give it an A for price, an A for performance, a B for finish and a C for width. And EXCELLENT VALUE for the money. If they made the same gun in a 9mm I'd have one of those too.

A Decent Balance Between Affordability, Portability and Firepower This gun arrived on time and as advertised from Bud's. It needed a good cleaning. After that, I recommend some snap caps (or not; I don't think dry firing will hurt it) and about 3-400 dry fires, to help the action. In the first 200 rounds, there might have been a FTE, but I honestly do not remember one. The sights initially fired low left for me, but as I am no pro and have never taken range lessons, I kept working the action with dry firing before attempting any sight changes. This paid off, as yesterday I went to the range with it and fired around 50 rounds, just as a check. 14 aimed shots in a 4" group, another 7 in a 4" group, and a series of rapidly fired "disarming" (gun-side shoulder) shots, to see what speed did to my pattern consistency. It went very well. All of which is to say, if you give this gun some leeway when you first get it, it will improve, and reliability is excellent from the beginning. For the price paid, I am very impressed. For a CCW, it is at least a good choice. Firepower is the clear weakness for the Thunder, but it prints very little through normal clothing, and remains comfortable in a IWB holster. The blowback action apparently means a Bond-style silencer isn't an option, but it also makes for a gun that consistently goes bang when asked politely. I suggest you consider the double-stack version, as more rounds in .380 sounds comforting; As a daily CCW, the Bersa Thunder 380 is cheap, reliable, ergonomic, and, with some shooting, quite accurate. Definitely a yes.
