The model 60 Smith &Wesson is a outstanding sidearm, all stainless 357 magnum, I finished out this little revolver with wolf trigger and hammer springs along with custom wood grips and a high polish. Buds service along with their shipping was very professional. Thank you Buds gun shop.

Ideal pocket gun yet heavy enough to fire comfortably for a trip to the range. Typical S&W quality at a reasonable price.

What is there to say other than you pay a premium to own the best, most dependable revolver in the world. Now, it shows the price being at $6543.21 . I think that must be a mistake, but if true, I got the deal of the century. If you are going to trust your life to a pistol, this is the one for you.

Perfect CC gun. I carry this everyday as my primary. Very accurate and single action is a hair trigger.

Great for conseal and cary . Must have strong wrist will bite w 357 ammo.

As a LEO owned and carried an original model 60 that I purchased new for $90. in 1969. Carried that gun and loved it for many years until I replaced it with a 66 2 1/2” that I still have. Both were excellent handguns, but back then on the salary we made I couldn’t afford more than one at a time. So now I’m retired and thank God am a little better off than I was back then, and I miss my old friend. Every time I walk into a gun store my first question is do you have any mod. 60s, but sadly they are scarce or prohibitively priced. Then one day I’m in a store and see the new model 60, and it’s like shaking hands with an old friend. No it’s not as smooth and not as light a trigger pull, but that will come with use and a little fine tuning, but the new one takes .357, I always worried with the original because even Smith would say oh yeah go ahead you can put + p s in it, but it took Smith and Wesson almost 30 yrs before they would put that in writing on the barrel. I’ve always been into overkill and will probably rarely shoot a .357 from this gun, but I’m sure I have nothing to worry about with the stoutest +p s out there, and it’s nice to know it will take a.357. I’m not going to let this one get away!

This "Smith & Wesson M60 5RD 357MAG/38SP P 2.12" is your classic "Dick Tracy" Snub nose revolver with two great goodies. .357 Mag. power house and harder to rust no finish wearing off stainless steel. Just love this gun. Carl

I really like the new revolver. the action is smooth and doesn't seem to stack. it was a great purchase.

The action is smooth in both single and double action. The finish is nicely done, its got a very solid heft to it and handles 38 special and 357 magnum with ease. 357 magnum spent casings do tend to get caught up in the cylinder just a little bit as it is a longer casing but nothing detrimental. All in all it was well worth the money.

Great service from Buds. Another great revolver from S&W. Accurate...powerful...and will hold it's value.

Quickly became one of my favorites!

This has been the best snubbie that I have owned. Very concealable. Great trigger in DA/SA. It shoots 38 special with minimal recoil and 357 magnum is snappy but manageable.

I just received this S&W Model 60 and the experience at Buds Gun Shop was easy and efficient. The five shot is great out of the box. I have not been to the range yet, but I have dry fired it with snap caps. The trigger feels good. The double action has a resistance that could not possible tire me out in 5 shots. The single action is a whisper of a pull. I have a 40+ year old model 36 (38 cal J-frame 5 shot) and that gun has served me without any kind of hiccup. I intend to shoot only 38 and 38 +P out of this model-60 and with that I know this gun will serve me for as long as I need it. This Stainless model 60 will wear better. My model 36 is showing some wear, but no rust. I will probably have the m 36 resurfaced. Model 60 great little powerful gun.

I was skeptical about the Model 60 due to the fact that I have large hands. It was shipped to my FFL, which is also a shooting center, so I immediately took it to the range to experience how it handled. The factory grips are too small for my hands so I ordered some Packmyr grips. I really like this firearm; it's not my first snubnose revolver. I recommend that anyone who wishes to purchase this revolver take into account the small factory grips v. the size of their hands. Nice firearm!

Hello, I recently purchased three firearms from Buds Guns shop absolutely love them and I plan on purchasing more. I'm currently enrolled in a police academy here in upstate New York and I have told many of my friends at the academy and family about Buds guns, I'm sure many of them will be placing an order in the very near future. What can I say? An American classic, an original in stainless steel. The eternal beauty of the design will keep these guns in production forever. My only disagreement is about the rubber grips that spoil the noble lines of the gun's design. Each time I buy a model 60 I dress it up with service type imitation ivory grips. That brings out the original beauty of the design. Of course we all have our own taste about guns, I cannot imagine mine with those ugly rubber grips. Thank You, Bud's. Great gun, good price.

Usual 5 star service from Buds, but unfortunately, this S&W suffers from a sticky cylinder that takes a bit of pressure to swing open. Not a lot, you don't have to use major force, but it requires a side-press to open. My gunsmith says it might improve with use, but I may send send it back for warranty service.

Buds was great.. ordered online with intent on putting on lay away at the Lexington store but I couldn't wait that long and went ahead and paid for it two weeks after putting it on lay away!... the model 60 is a great gun .... absolutely a dream to shoot in single action and shooting357's is not bad either... would recommend Buds and the model 60!!

fit and finish are perfect. very good looking revolver. .38 special ammo is very accurate and comfortable. .357 ammo make this little gem a two handed proposition. i will stick with the .38 special ammo. this revolver is now my carry weapon, i also carry a s&w shield 9mm. i like this s&w 60 better.

Great carry weapon.Great Balance handles Heavy Loads with light recoil. S&W has improved over the years.I have owned a lot of there Stainless models and I have to say The Finish is well done.Being able to have the option of .38 or .357 is a great advantage. Wheel Guns have always been top shelf with me.I added Crimson Trace LG-405 and been very happy with group results.Happy Shooting
