I haven't shoot it yet but everything looks great I'm very happy I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a 1911

First, let me start by stating that there were some minor payment issues on this transaction, but, these things happen on occasion when purchasing online. With that said I will also say that Buds customer service is second to none, they stepped up and fixed the issue ASAP. Now to the gun, all I can say is in a word, OUTSTANDING! I only put 100 rounds through it, but there were no ftf or fte issues at all. Accuracy was awesome, out of the 8 rounds per magazine I was grouping 5 or 6 shots into one ragged whole from 20 feet, and I consider myself an average shooter. Bought this gun through the 180 days to pay, this is a great option for those of us on a tight budget to get the guns we really want at an unbeatable price. All in all, another great deal from Buds, thanks guys, and as always I'll be back for more.

Very nice 1911. Not traditional by any means. Different firing pin block and external extractor. Otherwise its a damn fine version of the 1911. Very tight and well machined. Not a mark anywhere inside or out. You can certainly do a lot worse for 833.00. The two mags are extremely high quality also. I probably wouldnt buy another one because i am a traditionalist but i am very impressed with it so far.

Fired over 500 rounds- not a single problem yet. Love the fact that it's all stainless. The piece is nice and heavy, and doesn't use any of that Polymer material. Easy to field strip, a breeze to clean- a pure joy to play with this firearm. Buds has superior pricing and unmatched service. Highly recommend this 1911 45ACP to anyone that wants a quality, reliable, accurate, reasonably priced 1911model 45cal. The Smith&Wesson 1911 45ACP definitely gets two thumbs up from me!

I have had this firearm for about 6 months and have put about 1500 rounds through it. AWESOME! No jams, shoots through all types of .45ACP ammo, easy to clean and maintain (I treat mine like a baby), dead accurate at 30 - 50 yards, and very comfortable in the hands. Buds is excellent as always and will be doing business with them in the future.

bught from buds online store lay-away plan, exelent for my budget needs. tried this gun from a friend, fell i love with it, had to buy my own. shot 200+ rounds so far and no problem, no jams, highly recomend for a begginer since ive been into guns now for a year now. thanks buds. another happy customer.

Just thought I'd come back and update. Round count on the pistol has exceeded 25,000 rounds (yes that's thousand) with no excessive play, wear or parts breakage. Every part on the pistol is original except the grips and recoil spring. I have had 3 Failures To Feed, and all were with 19500 rnds on the original recoil spring. No one mentioned that you are supposed to change them, so I didn't. It came to my attention that they should be changed far more frequently, and since I put the new one in it has gone into battery every time. Not a single other malfunction and the gun shoots 2" groups off hand at 40ft at point of aim. Your mileage may vary.

Excellent weapon. The first trigger pull was a bullseye, and this was the first time I had shot in 10 years! Subsequent rounds were similar. No malfunctions. Hi quality high-end pistol. Great value. Bud's is the best to deal with. Never buy from anyone else, if you can help it.

This is my first Smith 45ACP. Shoots great and very accurate. Smooth action and easy take down for cleaning. This is a great machined pistol. Very happy I purchased this model. Bud's service is outstanding and good communications., also fast shipping. Thanks again Bud's Gun Shop.

Excellent weapon - my first 1911 and it felt and shot great It likes good ammo. It is very accurate - factory sights are great. A good upgrade are the Laser grips by crimson trace. I have only had it jam once and that was when I was using low-grade ammo.

PURCHASED ON LINE 4-08 FROM BUDS. 700 ROUNDS SO FAR, SLIDE LOCKS OPEN WITH ROUNDS IN MAG, EMPTIES SOMETIMES HIT ME IN THE FACE, BREECH FACE IS POORLY MACHINED AND MARK THE BRASS, PLUNGER TUBE IS NOW LOOSE. WILL NEED TO SEND BACK TO S&W FOR REPAIR. WISH I HAD WENT WITH KIMBER OR SPRINGIELD.

This is my favorite gun that I own. I've got just about 1000 rounds through it with out a single problem. Not even with hollow points. The gun is very accurate and easy to shoot. Like I said, I love this gun!

This 1911 has a great fit and finish, it isn't glossy and it fits a smaller hand very well. I brought it out to the range and was very impressed with its accuracy and performance. Off hand three inch groups at twenty five feet. My buddy said it was a pleasure to shoot with its low recoil and superb handling capabilities. This is a exceptional firearm that's worth owning, you won't be sorry.

I just got one of these a few months back. So far I have about 500 rounds though it without a single problem. Overall fit and finish is excellent and the firearm feels great in my hands. Recoil is very managable for a .45 and it is very acurate. This is my first 1911 and I am very pleased with it. Do not hesitate to buy one of these!

This was my first 1911 and I am impressed by the quality of the handgun. I did some intensive research trying to determine an economical plus quality 1911 to purchased. I ordered mine on 11 DEC and it arrive at my local FFL on 17 DEC. The finish is perfect; however, the SW1911 logo does not match the pic on the website. the SW1911 logo on my gun is relatively small with the SW logo next to it. I can only suspect that SW changed the placement after multiple complaints about the original size. I could not find any tool marks during dissaembly and the slide is a perfect, no play at all. I did a thorough cleaning and took it to the range...250 rounds of Winchester 45acp 230gr and not one problem. It's a keeper.

Excellent weapon - my first 1911 and it felt and shot great right out of the case. Really surprised about the perceived recoil - my Sigma 9mm may not kick harder, it just does so more uncomfortably, if that makes sense. SW1911's recoil is smooth, comfortable and very controllable. Well balanced gun with great return to POA after firing. Very fun to shoot - I highly recommend the SW1911!

A great weapon, Shoots very nice it is accurate feels great and carrys good. I have had mine for about 3 years now never a jam.

Picked this jewel up about a year ago. Haven't touched anything but the hogue rubbers gor changed to hogue wrap-arounds. It has fed approximately 4000+ rounds of Blazer Brass, Aluminum, Wolf Steel, WWB, Remington, Magtech, PMC, and +p hollow points from corbon, golden saber, and magtech gaurdian gold. I use the wilson mag that came with it, the act mag that came with it, and 4 chip mccormick shooting star 8 rounders. never had a minutes trouble. Even slapped a Marvel 22lr kit on the top and started plinking with it. Dead reliable, more accurate than I'll ever be. No discernable wear anywhere on the gun. Great weapon and a good deal.
