This little browning 22 lever action is a great little rifle. Accurate right out of the box. It shoot all 22’s best of all it shoos 22 shorts.

It has taken me years to finally buy this rifle. I wish I had done it sooner.
It is a sweet shooting, sort-throw lever action 22lr, that is quick, and smooth. It paired with my 1962 Colt Frontier 22 revolver nicely.
I could have bought something for half the money, but would of had half the rifle. And had I looked at several other's.
All in all, I give this product, five stars out of five.

What a sweet shooting gun! I was going to change the sights but decided against it. Super accurate and a joy to shoot, the chipmunks on the other hand have a different opinion I’m sure!

I bought this in 2018 I think. It had some feeding issues and really wasn't very accurate with 50 yard groups in the 1 1/2 - 2" range using a Leupold 4X12 scope. I swapped it off.

A really nice .22. Light weight, easy to carry in the beautiful wood and well made.

After owning this .22-cal rifle for a couple of months I sold it. The BL-22 is not a bad rifle, but I didn't like the sights, too small, I did not like the short-throw of the lever. And I discovered that the receiver that I thought was a solid steel unit is nothing more than a steel cover over an aluminum sub-assembly (take a look at a BL-22 schematic). I think for the money you would be better served with a Henry lever-action .22-cal rifle. I sold the BL-22 and bought a Henry .22 Carbine with the big-loop (which turned out to be more accurate than the BL-22). I think the Browning BL-22 is a good rifle, but I think it's over-priced for what it isn't --- for that I give it two stars. Bud's was great as always.

Just a great great little gun! My dad bought me one back in the mid 70's and I loved it Then and love it now. High quality, good looks and shoots very well! Buds was great as well, super fast shipping.

Browning BL-22. Wow what a gem. It came down to the Browning or the Henry Golden Boy. I am very happy I chose the BL-22. Fit and finish are spectacular! Accurate, a 6" gong at 50 yards was effortless. What a beautiful firearm. Steel receiver was the deciding factor as well.Thanks Buds for fast and free shipping.

The Browning BL22 Gr1 is the perfect culmination of design, materials, balance, fit, finish, and quality. The same applies to my SA22 Gr1 rifle. They are both great guns that will be in my family for generations.

WOW! I picked this beauty up from my FFL today! Let me tell ya....this is THE lever action 22 and nothing else compares! I owned a used one awhile back but had to sell...wanted to own one again, and a NEW one at that. The gentleman across the counter looked at the rifle sitting there in the box and commented about how much better the Browning was than the Henry! Henry's are damn fine 22 for the money spent, but save a bit more and have a 22 lever gun that you can pass down to the grandchildren! I am very please with the looks and finish of this beauty! I own plenty of bang for the buck firearms, and they serve their purpose, but make sure to add a few of the finer firearms to your gun cabinet! Everyone needs at least one Browning firearm, and this Browning Bl22 is a great place to start! Get one!

Very nice little rifle. Looks great with very nice build quality, good looking wood and blueing. Fun to shoot, lightweight and accurate and has worked perfectly with shorts, longs and long rifle shells. The only gripe I have is the "made in Japan" stamped on the barrel, gun is near perfect, just wish it was made in America.

The Browning BL-22 I received from Buds is a very nice lever action 22LR, shoots great and very accurate. I have a Henry Frontier and the Henry is nice but the quality of the Browning is just way better. I look at it like the Henry is something that you could pass down to your kids. But the Browning you could pass down to your greatgrandchildren. 5 stars for the Browning BL22. A couple things though. I knew what I was buying when I ordered this Browning, it`s a Grade 1. The picture as of 8/15/12 is of a Grade 2. The Grade 1 does not have checkering on the stock or engraving on the receiver and no gold trigger, just a heads up. The Browning deserves 5 stars

OMG, I love this gun. Yes, it's just a 22, but it is so solid, and feels like a piece of furniture in your hands. It's a bit short for me, but I'll tell you what, It's incredibly accurate. Must be the weight that absorbs nearly all felt recoil, and the plain old iron sights are easy and dead on. Great fun gun or for the range .... I just wish that someone would make a 22 lever action that had a side load (like the big calibers!).
