I have only had the Taurus 66 for a few weeks but love the feel and how it shoots. At this point I would recommend this for anyone who is not independently wealthy and wants a 357 revolver.

great shooting pistol for the money

I absolutely love this revolver. The matte finish is awesome. 7 rounds of .357 magnum or .38. Your choice. You can't go wrong with this handheld cannon.

This is a very good product for what you pay. The cycling is very good, shoots straight and hits what you're aiming at. Buds was awesome as always. Taurus has come a long way.

This is a very nice gun its not as big as i thought it would be and thr grip is a little different buy overall very nice if your looking for a 357 and dont have $900 for an expensive one this is it priced right overall well made gun!

Taurus catches a lot of flack but this seems to be a very well made firearm, especially for the price. I have shot .38 special, +P, and .357 magnum without any issue. Has a nice single action trigger break, the double could be better but it isn't horrible by any means. The grip is fairly comfortable, no issues there. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a .357 on a budget.

The trigger pull was too heavy. I changed the springs. Now it's fine and I like the gun

Most excellent transaction! Time from order to receipt was 5 days since Bud's sends handguns by UPS 2nd day air (no charge) and local gun shop was taking 3 weeks to fill orders. Price was the best, revolver is exactly as expected. All future handgun purchases will be done with Bud's!

Had a chance to shoot a number of my favorite loads through this revolver and was pleasantly surprised at how it performed. Everything from mild 38's to hot 357's went were they were supposed to with zero ejection issues and great performance accuracy wise. I would encourage anyone who is on the fence to seriously look at this revolver before laying down a lot more for a 'brand' name revolver.

It's no secret that Taurus isn't everyone's favorite firearm company, and overall quality has been an issue in the past.
That being said, they've either gotten better about quality, or I've lucked out with this purchase.
It passed the standard revolver checklist; no defects, no malfunctions, everything works the way it's supposed to. It is a very solid handgun with a good weight to it. I've put 7 rounds through it so far with more to come tomorrow. No complaints at all as of yet.

Awesome revolver and looked better than the pictures and videos shows. Its actually a matte black and not glossy which is my favorite gun finish. Thanks buds for the speedy delivery even during the December month!

This is absolutely amazing to shoot

I began looking for a pistol to take bear hunting. I looked at reviews and decided to go with Taurus 66. Buds gun shop saved me well over $100 to $200 rather than buying outright in a gun store. Service was great and pistol shoots absolutely awesome.

I've had this gun for a while now and it was dead on out of the box at 25 yds I just simply like it and enjoy the daylights out of it. As far as penetration all i can say is it it a 357 and it is good for anything in Texas.

Have never bought a Taurus, but I like them now. Solid, great gun, good quality. Bought it for my son in law and he loves it. It is a big gun and all metal so it is a bit heavier. Def recommend.

bought this gun to have a mate for 357 rifle and picked Taurus because I have two other of the same brand and happy with them. This one is of the same high quality as the others and I am pleased with it. Buds service is good as always.
