Tiny but great little gun. Fun to mess around with at the range

The pistol arrived in good time, but I have not been able to get just one magazine of ammo through the thing without a failure. Usually failure to eject which of course makes the thing virtually worthless. Don't think I want to spend $60.00 to ship it back for service like the other fellow, especially since there is no guarantee they'll fix the thing. Guess I learned a lesson I should have known all along, Taurus builds junk!! (buy the way, I tried several types of ammo, and none worked.

Shipped the PT-22 back to Taurus. A little over 2 weeks later I got it back. No way to track anything. New barrel and slide installed. Feed ramp and slide nicely polished and got a bonus magazine. Cost me $60 to ship it though, so the jury is still out. I'll report back later after I've pumped several hundred rounds through it. I do still think it's a great looking pistol though.

I am very satisfied with the purchase from Bud's and my first time firing this handgun. UNFORTUNATELY right around 180 rounds of standard velocity .22 lr ammo later this pistol literally fell apart in my hand. After finally being able to clear the mechanism and remove the mag and lodged round parts fell out with it. After exceeding approx 100 rnds started to stove pipe average once a mag (8 rnds) & average one light hammer drop per mag requiring a second trigger pull. I used Rem gold .22lr standard velocity ammo. I will give Taurus an opportunity to make this right for me and I am sincerely hoping that this is a fluke. Before it failed it was a great shooting, great feeling little handgun and was considering actually purchasing a second one with a different finish.

I am very satisfied with this gun so far. Great service from Bud's with the gun arriving in less than a week after ordering. I was out on the range the next day. With the initial break in I shot 100 rounds of CCI Mini Mags and 100 of old Remington 40 gr. high velocity. I thought the Remington would have a high failure rate, but they worked fine. Lastly I put 50 rounds of Winchester Wild Cats though her. She ate it all with about a .04 FTE rate with the most coming from the Wildcats. Not bad for the first time and all the bad stuff I read about this gun. I am giving it 4 stars to begin with and will reserve final rating after about 300 more rounds. So far it is not living up to the bad press I have read.

I love this gun. Ordered it a few weeks ago and finally got out to shoot it this past weekend. I put probably 100 rounds through it and not one jam. I take my CCW class at the end of the month and I think this will be what a carry, its the perfect size. Service from buds was great less then a week form my ordering it I had the gun. I want to get this in the .25 now too
