Sights are cheap plastic and very hard to stay set with the power of the gun. I love the gun itself and the price but I’m very disappointed in the one thing that makes it able to hit the broadside of a barn. For the pricepoint, I hope that I can afford to look into other options. I also put some Hogue grips on it because the stock Taurus ones didn’t fit my hand very well. Great deal from Bud’s with fast shipping. Always great dealing with Bud’s.

Being honest this is my first purchase of a Taurus revolver. But its quality is on par with some of my other Smith and wessons and Ruger revolvers. This Taurus is a blast to shoot and you just can’t beat it for the price. Fired around 200 rounds so far a no issues.

Taurus 44 cal Heaven I am very happy with this Taurus Tracker in 44 cal. Shot it at Bud's Guns in Seveirville TN. That was a blast! Pun intended. Recoil was less than I expected. Aim point spot on. The factory grip helped a great deal with felt recoil. The 44 cal is huge and almost cartoonish. But I like it. It will not be my carry. Itwill be at the bedside and pairs well with the 1892 lever gun. But that is another story. Stay safe. Aim small and true

I have been wanting a solid DA 44 mag and the Taurus model 44 is it.i own the rugers and Smith's and Even a freedom arms 44 mag.but after shooting my brother's Taurus model 44 I had to have one.i became a 2 year team Bud's member and so far service has been fast and flawless.i will definitely be buying more and more.

Bought it Thursday morning, gun arrived Friday, picked it up Saturday morning!! This is what I needed :)

The Taurus 44 magnum arrived in perfect condition and well packaged. I took it to the Gun Range and put 60 rounds through it and I had to trouble firing the weapon. This 44 magnum has good balance to it and it is very accurate for a 44 magnum, even when you hold the weapon with one hand or two hands you will hit your target thanks to the ported barrel. I strongly recommend this weapon for any sport shooters, and collectors.

Overall, a good deal for the money. The finish isn’t pretty, and fine details aren’t super refined, but mine has been very functional and accurate. It is very difficult to clean the area above the barrel ports. I had to use a wire brush to get all the lead and carbon buildup off that area, even after soaking in CLP for hours and scrubbing. doing so resulted in taking the black finish off the sides of the front sight. Not a big deal, as it’s not a museum piece to begin with, but better design that angles the ports out (like the Colt Kodiak) instead of straight up would avoid that problem. The front sight also just has red tape on it, which is coming off after just a couple range sessions. I might swap the front sight or use some kind of paint that will last better. I’ve heard plenty of stories online about people having issues with their taurus revolvers, and maybe they have a higher error rate than other manufacturers, but it seems I got one without any functionality issues.

Definitely packs a punch! After about 10 rounds you’ll feel it in your wrist for sure. Nice big bore revolver for the price.

The Taurus model 44 magnum 6 shot 4 inch revolver is half the price of the S&W model and I believe just as good if not even better built it’s made to hunt in any elements and preform flawlessly the things that puts the 44 Taurus on top for me is the life time guarantee the price and the quality

Absolutely love my new .44 mag! After a few rounds getting it zeroed at 50yds, it was flawless. Have purchased several weapons from Buds, always delivered in a couple of days and in good condition.
