Things started out okay with the revolver...good price anyhow. After less than 100 rounds though it sortof fell apart. The plunger that links the trigger with the rest of the action became unseated and so then, yeah, it just completely stopped working. Taurus is being very helpful so far, but I haven't received the revolver back yet from them. I always assumed that 1) revolver mechanisms were generally reliable and fault tolerant (we've had revolvers for a loong time) and 2) Taurus revolvers were dependable. I see now that that assumption no longer holds up. I hate to throw shade on Taurus revolvers, but I think I'm going to stick with the more expensive brands in hope of greater reliability. Naturally none of the above should reflect poorly on Bud's, and I'll be hoping Taurus improves in the future.

Enjoyed shooting this bad boy. It’s what you expect it to be big, loud, powerful. Houge grips are comfortable. Has decent weight to it to counter the recoil. I’ve had no issues with it 100rds in.

Picked up the Taurus 44 in 6.5”, the good are as follows Fast Service Great fit and finish Ported Sight Adjustment is fast and easy Easy to clean Well built The Bad for me I have big hands and the grip is narrow in the palm, I tried the Hogue and it was a terrible fit. Found MBT from Brazil and it is a game changer for bigger hands. Also the trigger pull is a little heavy, easy fix with a competition spring kit. Great gun at a great prices, Buds keeps knocking out of the park on pricing and selection.

First one Ordered and received appeared to be very much used. I contacted the CEO of the company and he immediately shipped me out another one and also they sent me a label to ship back the old one. This one is absolutely perfect! Very clean and no wear, just a little gun powder residue from the test firing at the company. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet, nor did I attempt to shoot the first one I sent back. Will be my first 44 magnum I have ever owned or fired! Thank you Bud's for going out of your way to straighten all this out for me! Wish I could remove the review from the first one when I was so upset and disappointed. The gun is absolutely flawless! I mean perfect! Ran a box of ammo with no issues. Trigger is just a tad bit heavy but breaks like glass. Accuracy was very good to 35 yards. Grips are usable but feel a bit slender for my fat hands but not enough to replace them. Porting definitely works as designed. Lockup is like a bank fault, no wiggle or slop. Cylinder gap is consistent about .003. I'm a handgun hunter with 45 years exp. Shooting just about every suitable revolver made, I can honestly say this Taurus 44 may be the best 44 revolver for the cost! It's half price of any competitor! Quality exceeded my expectations in every way and I'm a industrial professional QC by trade. Yes, it's as good or possibly better than the competition! Long term use and quality is still unknown at this time for me, but I have confidence in the Taurus warranty after calling and speaking directly to them before my purchase. Buds was great. Shipping was weather delayed but everything ended up good! I will definitely recommend the Taurus 44 and Buds if you want a awesome 44 revolver at a very good price.

I could not be more pleased with this revolver. Bud’s price was excellent and the gun shoots very well. Tight lock up and sub 1 inch groups at 25 yds with 200gr XTP’s. I mounted a scope for hunting, since I am no longer able to used a red dot optic. 100yd shots on an 8” plate are child’s play. I have had really good results with Taurus revolvers lately and this one is no exception. I only wish the trigger pull was a bit lighter.

While I haven't had a chance to get this to the range yet, I am impressed with this revolver. It is meaty and heavy and just what I was looking for in a .44 mag. Looks and feels well made and can't wait to try it out soon. Can't beat the price.

Sweet revolver, heavier than competitors but that is good in my opinion. There is no wrist snap with this revolver I can shoot it all day long. It is dead on out of the box. Definitely wear ear plugs, the fluted barrel and big boom will have your ears ringing for weeks. Over all a very effective weapon and a welcome addition to my collection.

Buds right on time great service, price could've been lower, however we are in a Biden economy. Love the gun haven't fired yet but looking forward to it.
