I don’t know what to say but Taurus Messed up . This revolver has been flawless action and trigger pull smooth accuracy 50 shots at 25 yards inside the 10 ring using Remington 180 grain JSP and 240 Winchester JSP .I would by more Taurus products if they were as good as this.

Good gun. Slightly on the heavy side. But the recoil is minimal.

It's a big revolver...awesome party pistol. I have shot this thing so much I can't give out a good round count, but it's never given me any issues and is more accurate then you would think.

The biggest drawback to this firearm is the weight. it is also one of its biggest advantages too. The recoil from the 44 mag is not felt nearly as much due to the ported barrel and the weight of this handgun. I bought it for deer hunting and having it in a bandolier holster all day can be taxing. It weighs a ton..... Shoots great super accurate.

Love it! NO REGRETS!!! Consistently on target. Tight Headshot groups at 50 feet with Winchester 240gr and Remington 180gr SP!

Got to say that I love the gun. Recieved the weapon in less than a week and it was great right out of the box. Took it out to a range and fired some 44 special through it which I use only at the range to keep down the cost of ammo. The first grouping of shots hit in about 6 inch pattern at 100 feet, but by the forth group I had it down to 2 inches. Now for 44 mag I use Winchester platinum tip 250 grain hollow points, and I can say that the gun is awsome with the recoil it fells like shooting a 38 to me. Only downside to it is if you are small handed like me the grips seem way to big, and it just dosen't feel right to hold it. To make it worse it seems that the only grips that I found when looking cost almost has much has the gun itself. So I just took the time and made one myself, and the gun still looks and works great

I purchased the Taurus Raging Bull 44 for whitetail hunting a few years back from Buds. When the pistol arrived, there were minor nicks on the frame. The pistol had powder residue around the ports and cylinder. The "Red" portion of the grip was also dirty. The pistol's trigger came factory preset at just over 1.8lbs... EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! The manual explained the trigger has an adjustment screw, so I easily corrected that issue. After a few rounds sent through the pipe, the trigger became insanely stiff and the cylinder wouldn't rotate smoothly. So, I decided to tear it down to have a look. What was inside was horrible! The internals were honestly plagued with metal shavings, deep tool marks, and a few burrs. I'm quite handy with a Dremel and buffer bit. Having addressed every single part, now smooth as silk, she fires smooth and reliable. I brought the trigger pull up to 3.5lbs. Mounted a scope base on 'er with a Nikon resting on top of that. The design of the pistol, barrel ports and grip offers very little recoil. The 8( )" barrel is insanely accurate out to 100yds from a rested position. In the beginning, I was upset at dropping 507 bucks on something I had to square away. But, now it's one of my favorite pistols to shoot, and it's my main deer slayer. (Having used it to take 3 in 3 yrs.) Also, my wife of only 130lbs has no issues shooting it as well.

Amazing revolver, fit an finish is incredible. Upon receiving the Raging Bull I was starting to feel a bit disheartened upon seeing the low quality cardboard box it came in. Once opening the box though completely different story I as well a few other patrons at my local ffl were awe struck upon seeing the beast. Very eye catching piece an not a single issue, trigger pull is very crisp an cylinder locks very tightly insuring proper seal an aligntment of cartridges. First impression after firing was that of a school boy getting that toy he's always wanted for Christmas. All shots were straight an true, amazing grouping of around a quarter inch at 25 yards. Iron sights with adjustable rear are perfectly zeroed in requiring no mucking about. First Taurus ever purchased an quite impressed thus far with the .44 magnum, handgrip makes the Raging bull feel more like a .357 magnum. Great quality and amazing service provided by BudsGunShop will definitely be ordering many more firearms.

Amazing!!! That's the only word that comes to mind. I have red hawk , Blackhawks and this is by far the best revolver I have ever had my hands on. It's an absolute pleasure to shoot, hardly any recoil with its weight and ported barrel. It is also the most accurate revolver I have ever shot. Incredible groups for a hand gun. The gun is beautiful and a real head turner at the range. My only issue was finding the correct scope mount for it. After scouring the internet it looks like taurus doesn't really make one for the raging bull in .44 mag only the .454. I had to do some modifying to make it work but it does fit now and shoots well with the red dot I put on it. Buds was great and the layaway option was nice. Already looking for my next one. Shipping could be a little faster but not bad. If your thinking about this revolver, STOP thinking and buy it now! You won't be disappointed!

Loved my raging bull. I put over 3000 rounds through it in 5 months. Surpriingly soft-shooting, and very accurate. Shooting from a custom bi-pod, I could hit a 12" target at 200 yards about 90% of the time with good ammo. The SA trigger pull is very crisp and pretty light, but after a little work and some springs was amazing. I used it for IPSC competions just for fun and it was a blast. I sold it to a friend but am looking to buy another.

The first time I shot this gun at the range I was impressed. The gun is heavy and this helps control the recoil. I was able to maintain a 3" grouping at 10 yards out of the box.

First off thank you Bud's, GREAT service and FAST. I have another Taurus 44 and am very impressed with the quality and engineering of the revolver. I went to the range yesterday with the new Raging Bull and it shoots very nice and is quite accurate. I did have to spend some time adjusting the sights, no big deal. The shipping lube Taurus protects the revolver with works quite well but is a real pain to get off and out of tight locations such as the barrel ribs. Taurus quality however has really gone in the toilet. There are a number of spots that I could not see till in sunlight where the bluing is terrible or just plain missing. The ejector on the cylinder had a huge burr that took a file to remove. The cylinder backlash even in the firing position was equivalent to a weapon that has had tens of thousands of rounds through it. The cylinder pivot is very tight and catches through the movement almost like there are burrs or machining chips caught in there. There's more but you get the idea. Not sure I would buy another new Taurus.

gun arived extremely fast (in a matter of days). Buds was GREAT to work with. i love the product. it's alot cheaper than a smith and wesson and is every bit as accurate. The gun has little recoil (compared to normal .44 mag), and because of that, my wife can easily shoot it (she is a 100 pound lady). all in all, a great company and a great gun. (i love taurus' lifetime warranty, i haven't had to use it but i love the fact that it is there)

BIG gun!!! Buds was great again! Took a few weeks to get the gun but it was worth it. The gun was in great shape without a mark on it. Took it to the range today and it shoots great! Will use BUDS for all my gun needs. A+

Just got this gun in yesterday and I am very please. Had a slight imperfection on fron of barrel where a small section of bluing was missing but nothing to cry about. Had to look at it a few times under direct light before I even noticed. Overall I would highly recommend this gun to anyone. The things absolutely massive. Definitely a best BANG for you buck.

This is a very nice gun. When I got it I put a scope on it and it looks immaculate. Easily the best looking pistol I have ever seen. I sighted the scope in and I was surprised at how accurate it was. I could hit the 100yd bullseye no problem. Now I'm ready to kill a deer with it. The gun is very heavy, but with that, the ported barrel, and the big comfort grip it doesn't have much recoil at all. Very easy gun to shoot, but I will definitely need to prop it up on something for anything over about 25yds. This is the first gun I have bought from bud's and I will definitely use them again in the future. The only complaint I have is that the gun had a pretty bad scratch on the barrel that went all the way down to the bare metal. I didn't want to wait on returning it so I just decided that I would probably scratch it hunting anyway, and kept it.

A very well-made and sturdy gun. The grip is a near-perfect fit for my hand, and really helps to reduce recoil along with the ported barrel. Easily the smoothest firing .44 I've ever used. The felt 'kick' reminds me more of a .357 than a .44 magnum. The greater weight is also a factor, but it really does help with lessening the recoil and keeping your sights on target for fast follow-up shots.
