My favorite lever action I own. This rifle is beautiful, it will shoot any round that I have fed through it. A bit of a shoulder thumper but that's expected pushing 240gr with max loads. I love it and would most definitely recommend getting one for yourself.

This is the way to shoot 44 mag. it is much easier on the hands.

Bought it as my first rifle, great price as opposed to local gun stores and pawn shops that were tacking on an extra 500$ this thing shot perfectly basically where I aimed it hit. Right out of the box, phenomenal piece of American pride baby! This bad boy is gonna be in my family hopefully for generations to come and that’s the exact reason why I wanted it. Thing kicks pretty good but shoots like a .22 when you put that .44 special ammo in it. From about 40 yards out the grouping was really nice. Make sure when you use that lever action you be aggressive with it cause short chugging will cause the rounds to stick and then you gotta pick it out. Absolutely love this gun. It’s my favorite rifle by far over my AR and AK. It was 100 percent accurate straight out of the box and needed no adjustments at all. Shoots the 44 mag and special great. Will never get rid of it. Just scared I will scratch it!

Amazing gun! You can’t beat a Henry. Shoots great with a kick that reminds you you’re shooting a 44 mag. My only beef is that it’s so pretty you’re afraid to take it out for fear of scratching it

Beautiful looking rifle, somewhat heavy. Also, had a good bit of kick to it, it could def use a better shoulder pad as the one it comes with is metal. Also difficult/complicated to put a scope on it.

Could not be happier with the Henry .44 Mag Big Boy! Purchasing was easy. The rifle shipped within (2) days and was at my FFL in another (2) days. Very well packaged. Thank you Bud's for making my first online purchase a great experience. As for the rifle, beautiful wood, tight fit, immaculate brass receiver, super smooth action, accurate and a joy to shoot. Only problem is finding enough ammo right now! I've shot .44 Mag and .44 special with no issues.

Have not shot this gun yet but just cycling the lever action.... not the feel I was expecting. Very clunky feeling. My Golden Boy is silky smooth so I was expecting the Big Boy to be similar. That being said, it is 100% what I was expecting in the looks department. This is one pretty rifle.

absolutely loved this rifle. As always I never have a problem with buds. Took no time and it was ready to pick up. Nothing bad to say about this Henry. Accurate and fun to shoot. and if you go to henrys website you can even purchase accessories for it. One thing I did purchase that made a world of difference for my eyes. The iron sights were hard for me to see. went on henrys website and ordered some glow sights and was perfect.

Excellent Product!! The fit and finish is simply outstanding. I even love the hometown feel of initialing the quality assurance card. I haven't shot it yet but sure it will function flawlessly. I have a couple of 100 Hornady Leverevolution 44 mag ammo to boot. The cool factor is also in effect by paring this with my SW 629 Deluxe 3" (that I also picked up from Buds, a couple of months back) or my other SW 629 4". Got a Brother feeling like an Urban Cowboy. It's a Henry and that says it all!!

This is a beautiful rifle. It came packaged very securely and arrived in a timely manner, especially given the recent shipping delays. The first time we shot it, we put 100 rounds through, 50 each of .44 Mag and .44 Special. No jams, the action was smooth. I am very impressed.
