What can I say, I’ve purchased 4 of these. As close to military issue as you could get.

I've had this AR for quite a while, was finally able to get to the range recently. Functioned exactly like it should, accurate right out of the box with no adjustments, on steel at 100 yds even tho I can just see the target these days.

Rifle was delivered to my ffl in perfect condition. Came with a nice plastic case, manual, sling and one magazine. Rifle looks as good or better than any AR I've ever owned. Nice fit, even finish and no rattles. Rifle has a full heavy barrel, even under the guards, so expect it to be a little heavier than the one you carried during your your duty days. I function tested the rifle... no issues, and don't expect any in the future. Stock is a bit sharp on the shoulder edge, but I can live with that. What else can I say. It's a plain jane, clean looking, functional AR. Thanks Bud's

Great buy for those wanting an A2. Good quality and fun to shoot. I own A LOT of firearms, and for some reason this one has become my favorite. CONS: The magazine it comes with is silver. No problem for me, I just use a different mag. The rear sights do not have the elevation adjustment like a true A2. I just use this for plinking so that wasn't a problem for me. The butt stock is a rough unfinished light grey. I went to the local surplus store and bought a black GI butt stock. Overall for $630 I got an absolutely fun rifle.

I enjoy it! We put two hundred rounds of Lake City and American Eagle BRASS case through it yesterday without a hiccup. We tried Silver Bear steel case but it continually failed to feed. I see others here used the Russian so I may try again. Perhaps there is other better than Silver Bear. But this is one cool rifle, steel sights are just fine. We did discover using 20 magazines made it easier to handle than the supplied 30 round but I am sure that is an individual assessment only. So get one and invite me over to help break it in!

Great gun,Shoots no problems , I did not like the furniture it was off colored the stock and forward grips were 2 different colors.. But no big deal I changed it for Vietnam Era style like when I was in the army.

Bought this rifle through Bud's a while ago, but just got it out to the range yesterday. Shot a few boxes of .223 from about 50 yards, and I gotta say this is a very accurate rifle with the iron sights. Used American Eagle ammo, not a single FTF or FTE. I think I got a great deal here, if you are thinking about getting this rifle, go for it. As for Bud's, they did great as usual. Rife was received by FFL dealer before expected. Thanks!

picked it up from ffl on friday and took it right to the range same day, ran over 1000 rounds without any jams or problems. ordered m16a1 furniture to put on for that retro look. Buds is by far the best place to buy on the net.

I just recieved the gun today, It is a really nice rifle. It came in a foam padded hard case with a sling and a C-Product's magazine. The gun look's and feel's very good. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet, But once I do I will make another review. Overall I was very surprised at the quality of the rifle and the fact that it came with a hard case aswell. At $675 it's a real bargain, if you are in the market for a cheap quality rifle, Look no further.

I love this weapon I have shot around 150 rounds out of it with no problems what so ever I used top of the line ammo and I used cheap Russian ammo and it ate everything I put in it with no problems I went on line and got M16 A1 furniture and it went right on no problems.Other then the hand grips were a bit tight but they went on and now I love the looks and it fires everything you put in it no jams no problems at all.. And now it look just like the M16 I had when I was in the army back in the 70s this is a great weapon..
