Love this little rifle! From the sexy laminate stock to the flawless stainless receiver and barrel I love it. Shoots reliably and true with the Leupold 3×9 rimfire scope I have on it. No clips to fool with or blued surfaces to rust. And the whistle pigs will fear your name!!!!

Buds was the only place in the USA that I could find this rifle in it's configuration searching for months. Fast ordering, fast shipping, could not ask for more!
I zeroed my scope I installed on this rifle this week. I could drive tacks with it using Competition .22LR ammo. It feels good, it works good, it is accurate, and it looks great in Stainless steel with gray laminate stock. I also own an original Model 60 my father bought me, in a wood stock.

Action was a gritty when I got it so first thing I did was a good cleaning before heading to the range. So far I have run around 100 rounds through it with no issues. Initial sighting was @ 25yards and it proved very accurate, right around 1 inch. Not too bad for my first time to the range and with open sights. Now looking for the perfect scope. Definitely recommend

Great little rifle and now my go too when I just want to go out back for a while. Just grab it and go. No magazine to misplace or extras to carry. Just a full tube and a pocket full of rounds gets me lots of fun.

It's been several years since I bought a new marlin due to quality issues I had with the last new one I bought in 2012. So I figured I would try again with this stainless model 60, that I have wanted a long time. I should have saved the money or went with a ruger or savage. The stock fit and finish seem ok but the sling stud on the forearm was screwed so far in that it was unusable. The tool they used to screw it in also marred the stock. However I was able to correct the height of the stud with a couple of small washers. The barrel finish is nice but the stainless steel doesn't match the finish/color on the magazine tube. The reciever is just spray painted silver instead of the nice brushed aluminum they used to use. I don't even know what the trigger guard is made of but it's a different color/finish than the other silver parts. And to top it all off the front site is red plastic that can be pushed out of the dovetail with just your fingers. They don't even use the marlin bullseye in the butt stock anymore. Maybe I am just picky but marlin still has a long way to go, and will probably never get back to the JM quality of the past. Or maybe I am asking too much from a $250 gun, but I think I am going to stick with the pre 2009 Marlins from here on. JH

This is a fun gun ! I didnt much care for the poly trigger and trigger guard so l spent extra $$ replacing with aluminum. Well worth it and makes the gun feel more quality for sure. I also got an extended aluminum bolt handle for my bigger hands and ease with a scope. I’m very happy with the rest of the gun! It’s nice looking and functions great. No regrets spending extra on the stainless version! I would buy it again without hesitation! Nice reliable gun for the price!!👍🏻😀

This is an absolutely beautiful rifle. I love the stainless finish and the laminated wood stock. Shoots like you would expect a Marlin to, very accurate and no hang ups with CCI Mini Mag ammo. One note, invest in a 9/64 Allen wrench, as that's what it takes to get the two screws out to take it down. Luckily, I had one in the toolbox, but I've heard they may not be all that common for some. As usual, Bud's was great and I'll be back as soon as I can afford to. :)

Bought for my 12yr old daughter, she loves it.Stainless finish is flawless, laminate stock looks great.She has only fired about 150 rounds sofar ,without any issues.This gun is very accurate, light weight and perfect for my new to shooting daughter. Highly recommend this gun for anyone.

I noticed damage to the top of the magazine tube as soon as I unboxed it. It appears to be bent, so I left it at my FFL and contacted Buds. I have wanted one of these stainless model 60s for a long time, so it was disappointing to receive a damaged one. Other than the damage the fit and finish of the gun seems great, and it is a beautiful rifle. Hopefully I will get a replacement quickly.

Let me open by saying that this is a great company to do business with! Bud's shipped it to a dealer for me and it was still in the Marlin co. shipping box. i was the first one to open the box and the rifle was in great shape, the marlin model 60 SS is a Laminated stock and stainless rifle one of the best shooting 22 Cal rifles i have ever shot. This is a deluxe version of an old stand by. It is a very handsome piece. The fit and finish are quite nice, perhaps a bit better than the plainer versions of the Marlin 60. I had an earlier 60 with a factory laminated stock and this one is an improvement. The older version had thinner wood in the fore-end, so thin that installing sling lugs was problematic. This version has lugs installed at the factory and the stock is robust enough to absorb some rough handling. I think that the Marlin 60 is the best of the plinking semi-auto 22 rifles. I like the high capacity of the tube magazine and 60 has a well deserved reputation for reliability and accuracy that has been established over decades and this one fits right into that tradition. That being said, this version, like all of the Marlin 60s I have ever known, has a mediocre trigger. Not bad, especially for a plinking "fun gun" but with room for improvement. The stainless steel and the laminated stock make this an all weather plinker or small game gun. No Marlin 60 should be left in the safe too long. It is for shooting and I think the stainless steel is worth it so you can use in any time in any weather.

Unfortunately, I am going to have to be the 5 star breaker for this model. I went to pick up the rifle today at the FFL but the rear sight was so canted off to the right side that it would be unusable. I don't plan on scoping the rifle and thus chose this model for the enhanced sights. I am glad I checked it out; didn't take delivery. It would have been a first Marlin in the collection. This is not a budget rifle so I'm disappointed. Again, to everybody...check your item before taking delivery! This is the first time I've had to decline an online purchase for (obvious) quality issues. I'm Buds fan though and have emailed them to see what going to happen next. I just can't accept what I saw on a near $250 unit....

Excellent fast service from Buds as always ! This gun is awesome for the money, best 22LR made hands down and super accurate ! I've owned many 22LR's including Rugers 10/22 and this rifle is the best, most accurate of them all. Thanks again Buds !!

The gun is beautiful and shoots great. I have three other Marlins, an older model 60 and a late model 60 blued with birch stock and a golden 39a. All are great shooters. the 39a is super accurate. I have 2 Ruger 10-22's one stainless laminated, one blued brown walnut and they don't hold a candle to the marlins as far as accuracy. Everyone that has seen this gun really loves the detail and laminated stock. The only problem I have with it is the front sight is a light red. I cannot hardly see it. Maybe older age and I'm colorblind to boot .lol I think it should have been black with a dot. Anyway I put a Redfield Battlezone tactical scope with bullet drop compensator on it and it is an awesome combination. sighted in at 50 yards and turn it up to 100 yrds and shoot small targets all day long. Very pleased with it! Just took too long to ship it to me, seven days plus weekend
