No issues at all with malfunctions. Shot pretty darn nice and liked the smaller size.

Luv the gun had it 2 years now. Shot straight and the slide is tight. Buy Wilson combat mag and don't worry about the one mag.

Purchase process through Bud's was Awesome! This was my first kimber, Pulled it out of the box, tore it down, cleaned it, installed amib-safety, Lefty, took it outside and fired 3-6 round groups at 21' off hand with 3 different kinds of ammo, fmj and jhp, all shot excellent!! Sights were on, and trigger pull was crisp w/little to no creep! Trigger breaks at 5 lbs. Definately would recommend!!

As a long time 1911 owner and owner of many 1911's over the years, I was a little hesitant to finally try the "other brand". But I was in the market for a light weight commander length .45acp 1911. The pistol was of course very handsome as received, everything as it should be. I stripped, cleaned, lubed and headed for the range. I had not even one failure of any type, not one! Guess I got a good one. haha. I have since installed Wilson bulletproof ignition parts, slidestop, thumb safety, mag release and some VZ grips. This 1911 is accurate, reliable and a joy to shoot, also easy to carry being a lightweight. Oh yeah, almost forgot, fires hollow points equally reliably. Not saying the Kimber is better than my "old standby", but I do think it is a quality weapon with a great foundation for building a proper fighting 1911 to carry and conceal At the price I paid, I would not even think twice about buying an off shore brand. In the case of needed resale, I believe the Kimber would always retain more of its value than a imported gun, IMO

One of the nicer 1911's I own. Bud's service and shipping was excellent as always. The gun feels great and is accurate out of the box. If I didn't like to tinker with my guns, I probably would have sent the gun back to Kimber as it ejects 50% of the spent rounds into my noggin. The trigger had a creap and an attorney set the poundage. WOO, no suprise there. All in all, a quality firearm, with good potential.

Kimber Pro-Carry was non functional out of the box. Insufficient recoil spring force to chamber a round from magazine. failure to feed, and failure to fire approximately 60% of rounds. after 200 rounds attempted, pistol was returned to KIMBER. When I got it back from factory, it ran about 80% with the Kimber magazine . Using Wilson, Colt, or CMC magazines, AND with the slide lock 'safety' removed, the pistol works pretty well. Some rust/ corrosion is evident on the barrel. I dont know what grade of steel Kimber used in the barrel of this gun, it seems to 'flash rust' almost instantly when clean and dry. if you love your KIMBER, keep it well oiled.

This is a very well made 1911. Very accurate, and easy to shoot. A lttle large for concealed carry. Defineatly not as pocket gun, you will need a good holster.

Gun came quickly and as advertised. Wish Kimber came with more than one clip in the box. Easily picked up the 8 rd. version at the store for ~$20. Have put about 100 rds. through it already and am very pleased with how it feels. Was worried that it was going to be to large of a round for me to fire comfortably, but I didn't have any problems. Accurate out of the box, just need typical "warm-up" as with any brand new rifle / pistol. As always, Buds continues to impress. Not my first and definitely not my last purchase from Buds.

REALLY IMPRESSED WITH KIMBER QUALITY. ONLY COMPLAINT IS YOU WOULD THINK FOR A HIGH DOLLAR GUN THEY WOULD SEND AN EXTRA MAGAZINE. SIGHTS ARE GOOD BUT I WILL INSTALL NIGHT SIGHTS. SHOT APPROX 2OO ROUNDS THROUGH GUN WITH NO PROBLEMS OTHER THAN FACTORY MAGAZINE. MY KIMPRO MAGAZINE PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY. THIS IS MY THIRD GUN FROM BUDS AND AS USUAL THEY ARE GREAT.

I ordered Monday, Bud's shipped Tuesday, I picked up at FFL dealer Wednesday. It does not get any better than that. The pistol looks and shoots great. It will need a few more rounds downrange B4 total reliability. In 88 rounds I had one fail to feed in the first mag. I had 3 rounds that needed a nudge to close fully. After 80 rounds , I fired 8 rounds from 18 yards into 3 in. That is a GREAT group from my old hands and eyes.

Great pistol, shoots whatever I feed it, more accurate that I am. Would be nicer if it came with two mags, or at least an 8 rounder for $800, but, ehhh-it's a 1911, and people are gonna buy more for it anyway. Bud's CS is second to none, and prices are tough to beat retail-keep up the great work guys!
