worth the money, perfect for concealed carry

This is the most awesome concealed carry 45 out there. Been carrying for 4 years. It is accurate and bad ass. It takes a little extra to clean it but is worth it. Feeds all ammo well. I am sure if needed to defend myself MY opponent will wish he had chose otherwise!

Nice gun, only complaint is that it did no have night sights as advertised. This sort of jerks my chain

As always, very fast shipping from Bud's. The Kimber Ultra Carry II .45acp is all that it is cracked up to be. Kimber firearms are well made and tight fitting. I have run a little over 200 rounds through the Kimber. No problems or any malfuctions of any kind. I have been buying firearms for over 60 years and this little Kimber is the first firearm that I never had to do anything to the sights to hit the center of the target. I was ready for a massive kick from a handgun this size and it being a .45. To my surprise the Kimber has less of a kick than my Ruger LC9. ( That was a pleasent surprise!!!!!) This firearm will be my EDC after a few more rounds through it. Thanks to Bud's and thanks to Kimber. Both will get my business in the future.....

mine does not have night sights, but at a quick draw I don't need to sites to hit target. Never jammed. It is my carry weapon.

I haven't shot it yet but it didn't come with night sights as everyone said and the picture shows. It doesnt even have markings on the sights. This angers me.

Bud's did their usual superb job handling my order and shipping quick. I placed order on Sunday afternoon . My LGS notified my that it was in his hands on Tuesday and I could pick it up the next day. The Knoxville area was hard hit by a major storm that left my LGS without power until the following Sunday. I got my pistol the following Monday. The Kimber Ultra is above my expectations and my expectations were high. Visually I fouind no flaws. 46 of the first 50 rounds were in a 3.5 inch group from 7.5 yards. Group was centered around point of aim. This pistol makes me look a lot better than I ever expected to be (I am a lousy shot with any pistol). A big thumbs up to Bud's and Kimber

I got my Ultra Carry 45 today and could not be much happier. I have to say, I like Kimbers, this is my fourth. I have a black Pro Raptor, CDP II 9mm, a Stainless Ultra Carry II 9mm and now the black 45 Ultra Carry. They are all very tight great shooting pistols. I wanted this gun because the Ultra Carry 9mm is my favorite carry pistol and I wanted one in 45 too. And the kick is not much worse than the 9mm's. I picked it up about five today, rushed home and stripped and cleaned it and ran out to the pasture where I have my range set up and gave it a try. 50 rounds of Winchester round nose and Remington hollow points mixed and no problems at all, none. I used the Kimber mag and two Wilsons that I had bought for it, all worked perfectly. I don't know why so many people complain about Kimber mags, I have never had a problem with them. Any way there were no suprises as expected. And these pistols are not hard to field strip, you do need the little bent wire to compress the spring but it is no more difficult than getting a bushing off the main spring, you just have to use the little tool. Order a pack of five for $5 from Kimber so you always have one. Buds was great as usual. This is my ninth pistol from them and I have never had any problem. I ordered my CDP with a credit card on a Wednesday morning and picked up the pistol Friday afternoon. This one, as soon as they recieved the money order I sent as payment, last Wednesday, I was able to pick up my gun today, Friday. You can't beat that and save a load of money too!

Surprisingly accurate, and 100% reliable so far with about 500 rounds of three different types of FMJ. Trigger is good out of the box, so I don't have plans to work on it. The only thing I don't like about it is that the sights are cheap and it only comes with one magazine, so after considering how much they cost, I can't give it five stars. But that is the company's fault - the pistol is great...

A nice pistol overall; very easily concealed given its size, the night sights are very well defined, and the recoil is minimal, especially for such a small weapon. Problem is, to strip it, you need to use a rod to hold the compressed spring on the slide. It's a pain...

Very tight gun, great shooter! As accurate as my fullsize and commander 1911s.
