Wow. I have owned several .22LR autoloading rifles and pistols. I have had problems with Ruger, Weatherby, Remington, Sig Sauer, and my AR-15 conversion kit failing to extract or failing to fire (different problems with different guns mags etc). I had previously accepted 1-2 failures /100 as good performance in a well lubed and maintained .22LR autoloader. This is the first that runs flawlessly. I did completely strip the gun even removing the sights on the top and lubed it well with Mil Comm grease before the first use. About 400 rounds sound far. Just the cheap federal bulk pack and some CCI. Really fun to shoot.

Feels good in the hand, nice trigger. The only issue I noticed was a gouge in the upper rail that holds rear sight. You can't really see it when the gun is assembled. I only noticed it when I broke it down for cleaning before the first trip to the range. I suppose I could ask Browning for a replacement part, but it really doesn't bother me that much. The defect certainly didn't affect function. My daughter and I ran about 300 cheap, dirty Federal hollow points (from the bargain 550 pack) through it first trip out. Very fun to shoot. Ran perfectly, except for 1 failure to fire. There was a clear firing pin mark on the rim of the unfired round, so probably just a bad round. Transaction was smooth, the gun arrived at my chosen FFL within about 4 days of placing the order. Even with transfer fees, I saved about $50 compared to what I would have paid at my local dealer. Good price, good service, nice product. No complaints.

I already own a Ruger Mark III and it is a fantastic gun. However, i like the feel of the Buckmark in my hand a little better. Accuracy is superb and had no problems with Federal Bulk 550, CCI stingers, or Remington golden bullets. I have ran about 300 rounds of these products through with absolutely no problems. Additional mags are at least $25 when considering shipping, wish there was an additional one included in purchase. Buckmarks are a little more difficult to get than the Rugers but one should feel and shoot both guns before making a decision. Overall, great gun that is inexpensive to shoot with great accurracy; can't go wrong with this one. Thanks Bud.
