I love it classic British Commando SMG. In Semi Auto a little longer than the original Sterlings’ & heavy.(but no recoil) Shoots 9 mm flawlessly. After firing this you will find yourself wanting to watch the classic Commando movie The Wild Geese! I found it is better not to load the magazine to the full 32 round capacity as this sometimes will cause a problem chambering the first round. Better to stick to 30 rounds. very accurate out to about 150 (+/-) yards this was originally a close quarters weapon after all very quick cycling semi-auto action with light trigger pull can almost sound like a full auto when shooting rapid fire! A very fun/unique gun and you will get a lot of questions & comments when you break this monster out at the range. Fit & finish excellent but this rifle is manufactured with some original parts from decommissioned British Military weapons for example the magazine well still has the original markings: "Sterling 9mm SMG Mk4 L2A3". This is fine by me as it makes it more authentic/original looking. A lot of the other parts are original also and may show signs of wear: handgrip, magazine etc. But that just makes it even cooler when you consider that those parts came from an original military weapon possibly used by British Armed Forces in combat somewhere around the world! The whole Buds transaction process was great: Layaway program, e-mail status notifications, product protection and shipping to my FFL no problems at all. AAA+++! Bloody brilliant. Good job chaps!

Got mine today and it came with two 34 round clips, both worked perfectly. The shroud was marked Century Arms and is also in nice condition. Shot about 85 rounds through it and worked great. In order to get magazines to fit loaded I had to take out two rounds in each loaded clip so then they would clip in. Front site has an adjustment screw to sight in with.Overall very pleased with the purchase!

the boys love shooting this gun! had a broken firing pin after about first 20 rounds (subtracted 1 star), but after free pin replacement mailed by masterpiece arms its been a champ, after several hundred rounds and not a single ftf. really great gun!

Fun gun. Only fired 50 rounds, no issues at all when firing so far. Took 12 days to receive from the date order was placed. Grip looks less than excellent condition (scuffs & scratches on grip) and 1 of the 2 clips is very worn. Those are the only negatives which is very minor in my opinion. The gun itself looks like a beast. The stock is solid. Its a beautiful gun. If you are looking for something fun to take to the range and an attention getter, I believe you cant go wrong with this one. Buds had the cheapest price that I found for this gun. I only gave 4 stars because of grip and the one magazine.

Having issues with reliability and soft hits on the primers. Works fine for about 50 rounds and then getting soft strikes. After taking apart it doesn't appear that any dirt beyond the normal is an issue. Tried another spring and still having issues. May take to a gunsmith to check out.

It is a nice gun for the price. The reason for the low rating is that I was disappointed that Buds had it listed with the original crinkle painted finish on it and when I received the gun it was not painted that way.
