Fun boom stick from the past. These need to be totally cleaned up before use.

It's a Mosin! It was in great condition and everything worked! Kicked like a mule and is built like a tank.

Gun is in excellent condition for being made in 1943,it was also very clean, has bright bore and very good rifeling. I'm very satisfied with this gun.

Bought 2 of these at the same time, and they are both great guns. Head spacing on both is perfect and I haven't even had a mess of cosmoline. Stocks have some character but are otherwise in great shape. Hell of a rifle for $150.

This was an awesome item, fired well, with a kick, once the cosmo line was cleaned off. Loved it so much we are looking at ordering more soon in the future. First ones already been dropped into an Archangel stock kit, looking to do a few more mods over the next year and then see from there...

2nd order with Buds and I will be back for more! Ordered it when it was on the 180 day layaway plan, and after the last payment was made, shipping got it to me asap. Now for the gun. Honestly I hit the freaking lotto with this bad boy! I thought I was paying for some arsenal refurbed, wartime round receiver model. Instead I got a numbers matching, pristine hex receiver! After cleaning up the little cosmolime on the gun, the bolt was smooth and headspace and firing pin protrusion all checked out. Haven't got to shoot it yet but I can feel this is already a great rifle for my collection!

1 Tula 1940 forced matched .... wood has 2 different colors. 1 Ivzy 194? cant see not matching.... 2 different color wood some dings. Bleh..... not excellent condition some rust.

This gun is better than I expected. The wood was perfect(one or two small pin hole nicks in finish). No rust at all, and pretty much clean of all cosmoline. Action was very smooth and bore was clean. I brought the rifle out a few days after getting it to see how it shot. At 50yards I had a 4 inch grouping and at 100yards it was around a 6 inch grouping, and this was with mil surplus ammo...not the best. I would definitely grade this rifle at excellent condition. If you are hesitant to buy....don't be you wont be disappointed and get one while you still can.

I have to be honest. I been looking at getting one of these for about 6 months. I didn't pull the trigger until recently because of all the horror stories I have heard. So i hope my experience will help you decide, if your on the fence like i was. I received my Mosin last Friday. I cleaned and lubed it that same night. When i received the rifle i was very shocked that it was in such good condition. I mean not perfect, but for almost a 100 years old I would damn near say it had a museum quality finish. It came with the bayonet, cleaning rod, and a couple other pieces for the cleaning rod. Now here is the best part, and i don't know if I'm lucky or if it was because i took the time to research the weapon and ammo. At 50 yards with iron sights set for 150 (and lolly popping the target) I held about a 2 inch group In The Center. At 100 yards, sights set at 100 I managed about a 3 to maybe 4 inch group, same lollypop hold. The reason i bring this up is because one of my chief concerns was the horror stories i heard about the Mosin's accuracy, or that it shot way high. I found that it shot the way all the ballistic charts and data say it does. I hope this helps some people curious about the accuracy of the Mosin.

I purchased two of these Mosin Nagants from Bud's on two separate occasions. Bought the first and was really impressed. It is a nice 1939 Izhevsk in excellent condition. Took it to the range and shot a few rounds and really enjoyed it. So i decided to purchase another, mainly because these rifles are getting hard to find and because I liked the first one so much. I went to my dealer today and picked it up and it is in the same great condition that the first rifle was in. I checked the date and the markings and it is a 1936 Tula M91/30. Neither rifle had been counter bored and both (for being over 75 yrs old) are in excellent shape. Great deal on both rifles, and once again great service from Bud's.

Received my mosin nagant 1942 in what could be considered excellent for a surplus rifle. Has IMO expected shown use on the stock (many light scratches along the receiver and barrel portion. No major digs in the wood, actually a real nice finish considering the age. Stock also has the square with a slash stamp signifying it was serviced one time. But I think that's pretty cool because it means it was used. The bore looks perfect! Nice deep grooves! Most of the Russian serial numbers match. The magazine is force matched and the bayonet is a random.all in all I'm very pleased with my first mosin nagant purchase.

It was shipped very quickly. I am very happy with the purchase. It exceeded my expectations. I will be shopping here again without any doubt!

I picked my 2 mosins up from the ffl today, and was a little suprised. Both are 1939 Tulas. The one has force matched parts, but the other looks like a numbers matching rifle. Very impressed with the shipping speed from Bud's.

Picked up my M91/30 today. I have been reading mixed reviews on the condition of these guns so I was a little worried. I can honestly say that mine is a beauty. Looks and shoots better than I could have hoped. Apparently I got mine just in time because I got online to buy another one and they're all gone.

I was very excited and couldn't wait to get it but now wish I had not made the transfer. As soon as I got it home and went to remove the bolt the sear broke. Found a replacement for that. Then upon removal of cosmoline I could see the condition of the stock for the first time. I realize these are surplus but "excellent condition"? I would think poor to good at best. So now after replacing the sear I am refinishing the stock...I know, I know....but seriously it was BAD! The cleaning tools were wrapped up in a fed ex bag like a 1st grader shipped it and the ffl it was shipped to said to make a note that there was no packaging in the box and the bolt was sticking through the box when it arrived. I thought heck its probably been through worse.

I originally ordered one 91/30 and upon receiving it, I was stunned with the condition of it as it looked brand new. It was a 1943 Izzy. I ended up ordering another one a couple of weeks ago. I just picked it up today and this one is even better! 1940 Tula with a laminated stock. Couldn't be happier with my purchases!

For a gun that was supposed to be excellent I was disappointed. None of the serial numbers matched. The bolt, butt plate and magazine-trigger are all hand engraved -force matching. The gun itself is average at best.
