Very nice pocket pistol. Got the solo on thrusday and went that friday ans shot 250 rounds of 147gr 9mm from winchester. No one single issue.

Gun was superb to look at, the wife didn't like it, too heavy. I didn't like it, too heavy and big to be a pocket pistol. You need a holster to carry it. Too small for my large hands, and not enough power for me to carry. Fit and Finish were up to Kimber's quality, I own 5 others, but this one is just not for me. Never shot it and sold it for a healthy profit. The wife will stick with her .357's and I'll stick with my .45's. It does have a nice DAO trigger tho, one of the nicer ones I've felt, but for people with BIG hands and fingers, the bottom end of the trigger is curved just wrong and bites (or pinches / pokes) your finger.

My second time out. Thought some would like to know how it went. 50 gold dot 124 gr. and then 50 Gold dot 115 grain. No problems at all. i love this pistol. It shoots and feels great. I have bought from Bud's several times now. All went perfect!!! Thanks Bud's.

I took the plunge even after reading some iffy reviews. The Pistol is ammo sensitive. You can't just shove anything in it and expect it to work. I love everything about this pistol. The build, quality, fit and finish are excellent. Also shoots great. Nice sights. I have only shot it once so far. It takes down easily for cleaning. I shot 50 rounds of Gold Dots thru it withoud a hickup. I then when to a box of 115 Gr. FMJ and got thru about 1/2 the box before I had a jam. I stopped shooting and went home a happy camper. I have a lot of small hand gun that I used to compare this one to. Rourbough, Sig 238, Smith360, Keltecs, Etc.

Bought this Kimber Solo from buds. This is my go to online store as they do an excellent job. So far I have several purchases thru them and all have gone very good. I took the Solo to the range today and shot 50 rounds of 124 gr. Gold dots without any problems. The gun shot and felt very good. it also looks very good as with most kimbers. I then went to 115 gr. remington green box FMJ which by the way is a non-recommended ammo as it's too light weight. Well I got thru 1/2 the box before I got a jam. This was expected by me and I am very satisfied so far. It fits the holsters i have for my PF9 and Rohrbaugh. I may have to add the Kimber Ultra Raptor to my collection.
