Handy little gun in a fun caliber. I wish it was still available, I'd buy another.

I just picked mine up this morning and I'm amazed at how deep the blued finish is on this revolver. Balance is great and trigger pull is a very crisp 3 3/4#. Fantastic price, especially when you consider this is an exclusive. As always a very smooth sales transaction. Way to go Bud's! Don

A pox upon the people that bad mouth Buds...gun was paid for with two payments to layaway..processing and shipping was very fast and accurate..gun was inspected at my local dealer and found no problems with it..my dealer also indicated that he recieves 5 to 6 guns from Buds a week and never had a complaint..this is my second order from buds my first was a knife and nothing but satisfaction from them..as far as the gun it's self well what more can I say about a cool Ruger in 44 special with a short barrel? ..fits like a glove.

What a fun gun! After about a hundred rounds I haven't had any problems, which is as it should be in a reliable revolver. The casings fall out easily enough that the ejector rod seems almost superfluous. My uncle just purchased a new 1911, and we decided to try both. The Vaquero won hands-down, both in accuracy and coolness factor. A quick word about Bud's...I've shopped at Bud's retail outlet before, but this was my first online purchase. Ever prompt, Bud's got the gun across the country in record time. I can't recommend Bud's or the Vaquero highly enough!

Received the gun quickly as expected from Buds. When the distributor ordered these from Ruger they knew what a 6 shooter should be. Pefefect balance, and barell lenght. I have a small hand and it fits me just right. The hammer is built to make fast follow up shots with the free hand. I am just guessing But it should be deadly out to 25 yards I have not fired it yet. I love the 44 special its accurate , does not kick hard, and if you shoot a lot it will prolong your barell life. I love it in blue and I know it was made in stainless if I can find it. It is perfect for fast dtraw and the price at Buds is unbeatable.

Well made revolver that is very accurate with both lead cowboy rounds and XTP defense rounds. Very light recoil and enjoyable to shoot. Good value.
