What can I say, it's so accurate sometimes I feel like I'm cheating. And also knowing you have a Les Baer gives it a little something more special!

This is my fourth Les Baer. I've come to expect a lot from Les Baer pistols, and this Custom Carry did not disappoint. The fit and finish is great, right out of the box it's probably the tightest of my Les Baer pistols. I've run about 500 rounds through it, including Federal American Eagle, Fiocchi, S&B and Magtech. It functioned perfectly with all those different brands of 230 gr. FMJ ammo. I highly recommend this 1911 pistol.

I love this pistol. Les Baer says there are over 25 hours of handwork done on every pistol and it shows. It is firearms perfection. These are old school 1911s, built like a tank, and not like other more modern looking pistols. They are worth every penny and Les Baer could easily charger $500-1000 more for each gun. But I'm glad he does not.

This Les Baer Custom Carry is a steal at Buds price along with Buds usual fast shipping. I own many 1911 from Kimbers, Para Ord, Sigs, colts including 70 series Gold Cup even a Ed Brown and this les baer put most to shame and I hate to say even the Gold Cup and considering price the Ed Brown. Strictly business nothing you don't need I personally don't care for ambos saftey but it's unobtrusive so it's no big deal. Why spend $900/1400 + for a run of the mill 1911 for a little more a hand fit classic get them while you can

Excellent!!! Top Notch!! I have owned various 1911’s in the past, mostly Colts and they have left a feeling of something more desired. I sold a Colt series 70 and a colt gold cup NM so that I could break even on my Les Baer purchase. Only Great things can be said, no failures of any kind after 500 rounds, slide locks back and it feeds all Ammo I have fired through it... It is a “Super” Tight Fit and I have had finish wear on the frame from actuating the safety, that to me was to be expected. I purchased this to carry and it is the best 1911 I have ever owned... PERIOD! I would highly recommend if you are on the fence? Give it a shot and you won’t be disappointed.

Buds was spot on once again. Many orders, very satisfied. Now for the custom carry. I've owned many 1911s over the years , from just about all the players. From middle production units to top of production semi-custom jobs to Wilson Combat, Guncrafter and a few full house custom jobs. This new custom carry is everything I had hoped it would be and more. The Baer build philosophy isn't for everyone, some will grab a Dan Wesson and smile at the smoothness, they are good pistols, but there's just something magical about a truly hand fit pistol. This custom carry has the tight lock-up Baer is famous for but everything is properly fit and , as it breaks in, all parts are becoming as one moving unit. Break in? No malfunctions at all with several sorts of ammo and magazines from all the players, except Wilson. Even a few Tripp super7 conversion mags. All functioned just fine. Even the disrespected Baer 8 round mags. No issues with anything. I like the blued finish, I like the hand fit parts, I like the "hard fit" barrel, love the hand checkered front strap. In short I like the Baer build philosophy and I love this pistol and I love its a around a grand under other pistols of the same quality.. To me it just cries out " I'm all business with no fluff". No ball cuts, No round buts or bobtails, No changes to an old school fighting pistol ( with the exception of Baers thicker grip frame) and I like that it isn't a BBQ pistol. Now I realize this isn't for everyone, but it is for me. Maybe its for you, too?

First of all great job buds fastest shipping ever!! I ordered this gun on Saturday witch is a day buds is closed here it is Tuesday and I have my les Baer in hand one day shipping really way to go above and beyond my expiations. Now on to the gun it looks just like they said new in box not one scratch on it. I have not yet fired it yet how ever I'm 100% sure it's going to shoot just fine.
