Bought this gun for my grandson who saw one in Walmart, and loved the AR look. Fit and finish are great for an encapsulated firearm. Rifle functions great, with FTF or FTE being rare, wish I could say the same for my S&W .22 AR that costs twice as much. Placed a Nikon .22 LR BDC scope onto it, and this gun is a real tack driver with CCI Stingers, groups of less than 2" at 100 yrds. are not uncommon. I have a Ruger 10-22 target that doesn't group any better. The adjustable stock is a plus, and the available rail space made adding the bipod, laser and flashlight a non-issue, plus it gave him that tacti-cool look that he loves. Breaking this gun down for a thorough cleaning is a pain, as you have to take the actual firearm out of the two half shells that house it, fortunately, I've found that it only requires an in-depth cleaning about every 500 - 750 rounds. For the price, I don't think this gun can be beat. By the way, I've had this gun for over three years, so long term reliability is great.

Buds was great but the rifle is poorly made. I had it for about three weeks took it out twice and the lever to release the magazine fell apart. I did not notice until I went to unload it now half of it is lost. It has one screw and apparently strips easily. Now that I have the problem I cannot find the part. Mossberg and sons will not reply to my repeated emails have sent 4 times in 3 weeks. Buyer beware if you do have a problem your own your own.

A fun little gun the whole family can enjoy!!! Read the manual as it says to clean gun before using as it coated in shipping grease and should be good to go

Just picked up today. Fast shipping from Buds. This is my first time with Buds, and I was impressed. Easy, smooth transaction. Gun feels and looks good. About what you expect for the price. Haven't shot it yet, but I think it will be a fun shooter. Thanks Buds. I will buy again from Buds.

Pros: This is a great little rifle. I took it out to the woods today and shot about 50 rounds through it. The adjustable stock, picatinny rails and 25rd magazine make it a great gun for self defense without killing the target. I know that sounds crazy...but sometimes killing a target doesn't have to be the top priority. I have a pistol for that. Virtually no recoil! Cons: The magazine makes some noise when moving the gun around. It seems a little flimsy in that area.

This gun is awesome. Haven't gotten a chance to fire it yet but I am very pleased with this weapon. First off it looks cool. Some people say this gun feels "cheap" I don't think so. Sure it's wrapped in a polymer shell, but it feels durable in my opinion. As you all know the magazine is a little wobbly, I just put some electrical tape where the polymer meet with the metal part of the mag and BAM no more wobble. The weight of the weapon feels VERY similar to an actual AR, which is an amazing feature for a polymer body. If you're on the fence about buying one of these or on a budget, don't hesitate to buy one. And you can't beat the price of ammo with these things!

Overall, this is a fun little gun. HOWEVER, if you're thinking that you're going to get a full-on AR feel and function, look somewhere else. This is a Mossberg Plinkster (everything but the foregrip and buttstock) bolted into a glass-filled Nylon shell. That's why it's $100 cheaper than the other .22 AR clones. And, the 25 round magazine rattles when in the gun - it does feel 'cheesy' when in the gun. Also, people have complained about the 25 round magazines not feeding correctly and the gun jamming frequently. Lastly, it's a PITA to clean. Why did I give it four stars with all of these 'problems'? This gun is a blast to shoot. At 100 yards with a bipod'foregrip and a holographic sight (a cheapie $40 one), I was grouping around 2.5" groups. Put a 4X scope on this thing and It'd probably pull off sub 2" groups. Follow the steps below and you should have no issues. 1. Load your 25 round magazines FULL and leave them sit for a week to break in. 2. Disassemble and throughly clean your rifle. There is rather thick grease on the parts. Once cleaned, you can use Borescrubber (the synthetic safe formula) and CLP oil to clean for future cleanings. 3. Leave the bolt open for a week or so in order to loosen the recoil spring. 4. Dont shoot cruddy lead, tipped rounds OR hollow points. Mine DID NOT like Winchester bulk .22, it had NO issues with 250 rounds of CCI 'Tactical .22' rounds. I highly recommend these. They will keep your gun cleaner as well. Lastly, I did have an issue with one magazine initially. I called Mossberg, sent it back in, they fixed it AND sent me another new mag (now, I have three). Turn-around was just over two weeks. No questions asked. To get a 10/22 with an aftermarket (Archangel) stock and one 25 round magazine would have cost me around $400. I bought the Mossberg for $267, the scope for $40, and foregrip for $15. This is around ~$320.

Have had the chance to really give this rifle some use. Look and feel of this rifle to me, feels like a toy, plastic feel. Yet after firing several hundred round, really didnt seem to care, this rifle is fun fun fun to shoot. The clip takes awhile before you can load full, use it , spring will loosin up. No fail to fire Had one fail to reject. Ammo prob , not gun . All in all.... If you want something to throw lead, cheap to shoot , I would not hesitate on this one. Great little 22 and a blast to shoot. . Besides... you look good doing it ! lol

Received the product in a timely manner, had it about a week and have put around 1000 rounds through it with no problems. A fun and cheap way of shooting.

Ok so I couldnt find very many reviews on this rifle on Buds and other websites so when I bought this I was a little worried at first. After picking it up at the FFL I still was a little worried. But everything changed when I got it home, put a scope on it, and put at least 200 rounds through it. The very next day I finished off the rest of the 550 rounds I bought from the begining. This gun is amazing. It was everything I was looking for and more. After 550 rounds I seriously had zero problems. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a .22 to shoot for fun cuz this thing is extremely fun.
