Reliable gun, but single action, so we parted after while.

My 2nd Canik/ Tri-Star full sized pistol. very good gun for the money. Easily modified into greatness with a little help from Cajun Gunworks... My only issue with the Shark was that the alloy frame is so so light, the compensated barrel can't even make up for the lightness of the gun. The P-120 or the S-120 are a little better shooters because of this.... in my opinion. But still, great guns for the money...

Overall construction is excellent. The smoothest slide pistol i own. Takedown is a breeze on this gun. A bit of a heavy trigger pull, nothing that a new cz mainspring cant fix. The grips are terrible, replaced them with hogue wrap arounds. The gun was caked in oil from the factory so a good cleaning was required but i do that with all my new guns. The mags and speed loader are of excellent quality although i never use speed loaders the fact that a 350 dollar gun came with 2 17 rnd mags and a speed loader was a great deal. The finish is very nice zero blemishes on the gun. This is my first purchase from buds and will not be my last. Thanks buds.

The Shark Fc was delivered in a timely fashion from Bud's. The transaction was easy, painless and way cheaper than buying local. The gun shoots straight and is a joy to shoot after my adjustments. Sights came in off as heck! I know the other reviews rant and rave about the quality but I give Canik a fail. The slide serrations were partially milled, the sight was glued in, the finish was blemished from the factory and the slide was touched up with touch up paint! I bought this as a part of my collection where i felt i had other options but with the good reviews i took a leap of faith.......! FAIL

Love the look and feel of this 9mm. Shoots a bit low, but it's easy enough to compensate for. I've put a few hundred rounds through it already with zero issues and very nice & tight grouping.

In my opinion, this is a great pistol! DA is quite a long reach but SA is fine. Tight, confident feeling firearm. very accurate, cycles just fine.

The Shark FC ported pistol is awesome! Nice fit and finish, and very comfortable to shoot due to it being ported. The opportunity to own a ported pistol at a low price was too good to pass up and I have zero regrets with this pistol! It's a nice looking, accurate gun, that will put a smile on your face every time you get to use it! I have probably 400+ rounds through this gun with zero issues whatsoever. Same story with my other Caniks. Thanks Buds for bringing us this high quality import from Turkey!

Well I own a cz75b, and a glock 17 with ghost 3.5 trigger and other upgrades. This canik is right on par with both guns. Both my sons and I have shot 1 inch groups at 12 yards with wolf ammo. The trigger is almost identical to the cz. If they restock these I will buy 1 in all the color options. The porting works very well. This is an overall excellent buy.

Overall construction of the gun, good. Trigger, fair. Sights, terrible. More kick then I suspected. Sights need to be replaced. Prefer my CZ purchased from Buds.

I got this after some research, it was ok, think baby eagle but far lighter. Even with the porting the recoil was snappier than I wanted. I ended up selling the gun. It has a nice trigger in single action, double sucks. I also put a cz 75 hogue on which was nice. I did like the gun but figured I could do better. I think people will be quite happy with this gun though.

The Canik Shark I received has sights that are way out of alignment and it has absolutely dreadful grips. It's hard to believe that a gun that costs $450 would be so poorly inspected and equipped. If I add the cost of a decent set of grips and gunsmithing work, I'll end up paying more for this gun than for a CZ-75b or similar high-quality pistol. On the positive side, the gun has a decent finish, a good trigger and comes with 2 superb MecGar magazines. But all things considered, I'm not all that happy with this pistol and I'd summarize by saying that the Canik Shark is the Jaguar of the gun world - decent looks, but by the time you get it working right, you've paid way more than you should have to.

bought this pistol back in january recieved in about two weeks to my ffl . when I received I was very impressed .very impressive looking gun. great feel. Finally got to shoot it. What a treat. shoots dead on .sights are dead on. recoil is very light for rapid fire and accuracy.only negative is its made in turkey.but great pistol I love it and put some rosewood grips on it made for a cz75 with just mild modification.

If you are on the fence about this handgun. BUY IT!!! This thing drills at 50 yards. Amazing handgun get it while you can!!! Its a CZ-75 clone with a baby eagle twist. I got this Semi Auto Assault handgun (sarcasm) last week and simply put I love it! What they don't tell you is that it comes with night sights. The recoil is great. 9mm recoil is not bad anyways but with this ported barrel you really can get back on target instantly. BUY IT FOLKS!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! These Caniks are very fine handguns! Fit and finish are superb, as well as function of the guns. My only complaint is that mine came with a broken carrying case. The gun itself was in mint condition, but the entire bottom corner of the case cracked about 3 inches in two directions and pieces of the case were missing. This did not happen at my dealer, because I was there when the box was opened. No plastic pieces in the bottom of the box either, so I would say there are some issues in the shipping warehouses. Its not worth sending the gun back for, seeing as how I can get a generic case for around 12 bucks. I called Buds and was advised that I should contact the manufacturer about a new case. For crying out loud, I am a VIP member, and these things should not happen, but in this current state of affairs, it is good just to be able to still buy guns, and like I mentioned before, the pistol itself is a winner all the way around.
