Used this German Ammo a number of times now and I keep purchasing more when possible. I have not encountered a single malfunction to date . This has no recoil whatsoever and is accurate at 100 yards. The Ammo does not produce enough blowback to cycle a semiautomatic firearm. You have to manually operate the cycling. This has not been a problem for me as I grew up on bolt action rifles. As a side note, some German soldiers refer to this Ammo as their blue fart ammunition. This Ammo is less expensive than standard Ammo which is plus. It will put a hole in paper the same as more expensive Ammo will. This Ammo is great at doing what it was designed for.

Ammo is great for cheap plinking fun works nice in bolt action rifles not very accurate on windy days due to Being only 11 grain projectile. Very little recoil from these rounds.on a calm day was keeping a decent size group at 75 80 yards. Out of the 250 rounds I shot of this I did not have 1 misfire would buy more for price great deal from buds and they are quick to ship ordered Sunday delivered on Thursday

Great training rounds for my 8yr old son. He loves shooting them. Out of the 200rds I bought I've had about 10rds that wouldn't fire even after several firing pin strikes. Overall I would buy again just for the satisfaction of seeing my sons face when he's shooting "Daddy's rifle".

I was skeptical about this product, given the reviews. From my research, it was designed to run in the G3 pattern rifles with a special light bolt with no locking rollers as a true blowback design. According to my micrometer, the case head is also undersized, I believe, for that reason. I don't think it was ever designed to run in a bolt gun. Anyway, to the range report. I ran a box of fifty through my converted Spanish mauser rifle. I had no failures to fire or extract. The ejection did not work properly as the casing would usually fall off the bolt head before the case got to the ejector. Conclusion: Unless you are running this in either a G3 type rifle with the correct bolt or something else with a LARGE extractor claw that covers much of the case head, I suspect you will have problems.

I haven't shot these that I just bought from Buds, but I have shot this exact ammo (from another lot, probably, and bought a few years ago somewhere else), in my Remington 700 VTR, and it performed great. No failures to fire, accurate out to at least 100 yards (the only distance I shot at). No recoil due to the light bullet, but just about as loud as a normal round. I consider this excellent ammo for practice and plinking. It would be great to train a new shooter so they don't start off with a flinch reflex to the recoil. Great stuff in my experience!

I bought 2 boxes with low expectations, plastic bullets were a test if I could use them on local ranges with some severe ammunition limitations. Took a Ruger GunSite Scout and a box of 50 rounds. All 50 rounds showed a intentation on the primer, but only 15 rounds actually fired. Very disappointing performance

Terrible. only 1 out of 5 fire. Junk. Not such a great deal when so many are bad rounds.

First two rounds worked great in my Savage Axis 308. Next two would not fire (had deep dents from firing pin) and had to be removed with a cleaning rod (seemed that it went too far into the chamber). Would not recommend. Did not work well in the box magazine either. Very low powered round, was hoping it might be effective against something such as a groundhog, but shot a thin metal pan and only succeeded in putting a small dent in it. Might work in a single shot rifle, but would avoid for anything else. I'm not a fan of knocking live ammunition out of a rifle via the barrel, especially after a solid primer strike.

Fit and performed in my Saiga .308, you do have to manually cycle every time as mentioned in description Wouldn't fit in my bolt action Savage .308, it wouldn,t let the bolt close and I had to find something to push it back out through the barrel Great for indoor ranges!
