Great gun love it worth every penny

To start with, placing the order and shipping went exemplary. No cash discount with using CC but by paying off for “O” balance at end of month get back even more money, sales tax killer these days though. FFL dealer had gun ready with transfer documents and then… opened this great case the carbine came in and my expectations were met way more than I could imagine. The carbine was a work of art, finish of metal and wood was way superior than imagined from write ups. A shame to even shoot it. Everything included as stated. I find weight easy to manipulate and balance using vertical fore grip of course, not having weight due to barrel length as first anticipated. Bolt action was taunt but no problem to operate as a noted with other reviews. Probably just me but got quite familiar with M249 SAWS in another lifetime. ACP ammo also a plus and what an idea to use in a carbine as such. After all said and done, 5 stars is the only rating available along with “MG”, what am I going to do with this thing now? Have also a binary trigger AR fixed for Black Out rounds, amazing getting back to “old school” with the Tommy Gun. Bought mostly to carry in woods occasionally with walking pups daily. Things down there, have no idea. Not to shoot anything but having adequate “noise maker” at hand. Something with huge claws, nobody can identify so far, lots of guessing. Photo inc. Regards, Richard

Awesome weapon absolutely fun to shoot

This gun is a blast to shoot, accurate right out of the box but extremely heavy. Certainly a conversation piece that garners a lot of attention. I gave it 4 stars simply due to the weight. Great gun though.

Utterly disappointed in this purchase. Even after sending it back to the manufacturer for warranty repair, it still fails to feed at least twice with every magazine, whether stick or drum. Would be a great gun if it was reliable, but as is, it’s an expensive wall hanger.

I love the gun and the caliber! Ive been wanting this iconic rifle for a long time! its heavy and hard to rack the slide but I don't care. And Buds is always top notch with inventory, prices, and speed of shipping! Buds is my go to for purchasing firearms! I'll be back!

Wow! is all I can say....I am not a gun expert, intermediate at best. However, for as long as I can remember I have always wanted one. Weather it was nostalgia, my WWII interest or just the way it looks. This bad boy right out of the box is dead accurate at 25'. She's heavy but hardly any recoil due to the beefiness. Gorgeous wood and overall joy I have for this. Unfortunately, I scratched it on my first day shooting it due to the weight which I'll get over in time. Also, pricey to shoot must use factory ammo. Still brings a big smile to my face every time I open my case!!!

A true American 12 pound icon! This weapon has true heft when you add the 50 round drum to it.
The stick mags worked great but there’s a learning curve with the drum as I consistently mispositioned it at the range leading to feeding problems.
Once I got used to using the 3rd hand part and got the drum where it belonged, it was great to shoot. I question the need for the Cutts Compensator with the weight but it’s pinned in place for eternity.
The trigger is somewhat stiff and the bolt is best manhandled with a glove on as the spring is strong and there are metal edges on the bolt handle and on the receiver.
Given it’s legacy and the relevance of it’s history, I don’t have a single regret. The only addition I’d make would be a sling.

The whole experience in general was great. My only complaint was that I was trying to use the Cordova Financing. I got approved but every time I tried to process the order, there was always something that did not match up. I got to the point where I was tired of messing with it and bought it out right. The weapon is absolutely beautiful and I am pleased to have it in my collection. The shipping & delivery was prompt considering the current situation.

It arrived in a plastic case. Nicely fitted. Worked better than I expected. I wasn't expecting the Tommy to be as accurate as it was. Great buy. I should've bought one years ago.

I've shot this a few times now and overall I love it, very well made. However the bolt it very hard to pull back its supposed to be hard but it makes it difficult just to put a stick or drum in it does lock once you pull it all the way back though, also it only works good with 45. ACP ball rounds anything other will not cycle correctly like flat nose rounds. It did come with a case the description didnt say if it did or not, it's a little heavy especially if you have the drum full in it. 10/10 would definitely buy again.

Vey pleased with the product received from from Buds. Package was sufficiently protected for transport and my acceptance of the weapon from my local FFL was a no hassle process. Quality manufacturing of the weapon is appears very good and I anticipate no issues with performance and a tons of rounds to be fired. Buds maintains a keen focus on Customer Service and my experience to date is five stars.

A wonderful firearm. A bit heavy but you really get noticed.

OMG is this beast heavy - But I LOVE IT!!! No recoil - Looks Awesome - Shoots like a dream - A work of Beauty - A bit of chore to clean and install / remove drum magazine but once learned = no problem.
Really only likes 230 grain FMJ ball ammo (new) but what a blast to shoot!! Really accurate and at the range a definite conversation piece.
I immediately stripped / cleaned and lubed then waxed and polished the wood - Beautiful!!!
Also - from start to finish Buds as usual was Amazing!! I traded in a handgun I no longer used or wanted and Bud's made the entire transaction painless !!!
