I also replaced the factory Heinie sights with Williams FO fire sights. Changed the sight picture to a small triangle with the green FO front sight at center mass and now this Taurus PT 111 Pro shoots point of aim and not 4" low. So much better now, starting to gain confidence with this little 9mm. Buds service, prices and especially the personal are the 'best of the best' !!

Excellent service from Bud's in getting these sights to me. Only one problem, and it's the first time i've experienced anything negative with anything I've ordered from Bud's. I got what I ordered, so it isn't Bud's problem. I ordered, and received, the sights with the red rear lights and the green front sight. What I did not know was that the green reflects light so much better than the red. Ideally, I should have bought both sights green, or some other color besides red for one of the pair. The notes I read said no "pro" was needed to install. But, when I removed my orig sights and attempted to install the new ones ... the rear red lights didn't even come close to fitting. I took them to a gunsmith and was told $45 and a week to deliver! I went to Lowe's and bought me a trianlular shaped small file and went to work on the inserts. After about 30 to 45 minutes, got a good fit. Found the right sized (4) tools to fit the four tifferent sized screws, and it was done. Cost me about $4 and maybe an hour's time. Better than $45 and a week doing without my Taurus Pt145 45acp which I love. Seriously, the red sights are significantly duller than the green. But, I'm still glad I've got them as they are an improvement over the OE.

I ordered these sights to replace the stock Heinie sights (2 white dot) that came on my new PT145. I struggled with the Heinie sights, as my 50+ year-old eyes did not pick up the front white dot quickly. These Williams sights made a HUGE difference. They fit very snugly in place, and required just a few shots before I had the front sight adjusted well for me. The green front dot makes for a fast target ID, and since I'm using these on a CCW, that may be important at some point. The fiber optic tubes pick up light extremely well, even relatively low intensity light. I would caution the self-installer to use a hard plastic punch or wooden dowell to drift out the old sights & install these, as marring the slide is possible if a metal punch is used. Overall, I give Williams an A+ grade on these Fire Sights!
