It is flawless... If there's only one firearm you can ever own, this is the one. Bar none. I'd keep this amazing shotgun over literally every other thing i own. It does it all. Self defense. Putting food on the table. What's not to like? It is indispensable IMO. As always, Buds was great to order from. Go get yourself one!

This amazing Mossberg & Sons 590A1 12 GA 20".... I don't care about anybody says about this shotgun. This 12 gauge pump shotgun is the best weapon for home defense. I love this Mossberg. For home defense for farm defense or homestead. With the right ammunition you will keep your family safe you will keep yourself safe and your home and your homestead. If you set it up correctly. You will have no problems.. and keep in mind if it breaks the parts are easier to find for pump action then a semi-automatic. And this model. has plenty of accessories to install to make it fun

Recently got this shotgun for my birthday and have to say that I absolutely love it. It is my very first shotgun ever and only the 2nd time in my life I've shot one so I am a complete novice to this game. I have done my research, and have taken it apart and put it back together again (not easy the first time). Shot approximately 25 shells out of it and towards the end my shoulder was a bit tense due to the weight of this shotgun. Was hoping for the 8+1 variant but mine only takes 7+1of 2 3/4 sized shells. The recoil is what you would expect of a shotgun and by that I mean its like a small canon. You have to practice how to shoot this thing and with it shooting becomes a lot easier and way more fun. My sights aren't sighted right out of the box and are a bit off but for me its just an opportunity to learn how to make the necessary corrections. I love this gun and hope to enjoy it every which way I can while the good Lord keeps me on this earth.

Just got my 590a1 Mossberg 20 in Ghost ring. Love it, fun shooter 9 rounds of fun.

This is a 7+1 12 gauge. Not a 8+1 as described.

This is a heavy pig that is a beast, you won't find a tougher shotgun. The barrel is super thick to prevent soldiers aboard ships from denting the barrel when the smack them off bulkhead doors, it's goof-proof. The ghost ring sites are easy to use, the controls are easy to use. Just a heavy duty shot gun, the the ability to use a bayonet, what's not to love? The weight is the only downside, but that extra weight will make you more of a man, grandpa will be proud.

I purchased this gun for home defense. This is an excellently built and functioning shotgun. As this is a close range gun, I haven't had to adjust the sites, you hit what you aim at. The recoil and kick is less than you'd expect from a 12 GA. It's built well (as mentioned) and is super easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone.

Have been nothing but impressed with this shotgun! Functions well, great ergonomics, land love the rifle sights. Added a shell holder that Velcros to the receiver. No complaints at all!

Excellent! Heavy duty, great ergonomics. Needed to put aftermarket front sight on to get on zero at 50 yards, not a problem or expensive. Super easy to load(no pinched fingers like the 870. Hit 10 ring at 50 with iron sights. Recoil managable. Fast shipping, very fair price

IMO the 590A1 20" 8 1 is the best pump action Tactical shotgun . After all 590A1 did pass US Military testing .

Love this shotgun. Smooth action. Great quality. Had to get the Ontario M9 bayonet to complete it.

The 590 A1 is a large, pretty long and heavy shotgun-it also is a great home defense/ tactical shotgun if you can handle the weapon's size. Sights are well regulated and nine pellet 00buck produces impressive results to 30 meters; hot twelve pellet 00 buck do the job to close to forty meters. High pressure low brass ammo sticks in the chambers at times. I did some deep cleaning and polishing and things have improved. Very good shotgun.
Bud's price was reasonable, given what is transpiring. Processing and shipping is where Bud's beats their online competition hands down.
