The Smith an Wesson 45 ACP M&P is a very well balanced handgun, nice to fire not a big recoil for being a 45 caliber.

Nice pistol, but has that M&P “squishy” trigger. For a pistol this size you’d think they could squeeze in more than 10 rounds. Accurate and reliable though. Thanks Bud’s!

First and foremost love buds. this is the only place I buy firearms from online. Now as for the pistol it is beautiful. Nice dual tone colors and shoots very firm. Full size so it is a big boy but no complaints.

I am extremely pleased with this gun. I had a 2.0 and didn't like grip texture as it was too extreme and trigger was no where near as good as all the hype. This one is worth some praise. Good grip, triggers nice and it shoots well. No issues. Bud's was great as usual.

Had this less than 2 months. First time out I liked it. After that the trigger and I didn't get along. i know this is really a combat type weapon but the trigger is way to heavy in my opinion. Was shooting all over the place in casual target, plinking and traded it off for a 1911. Not my cup of tea and crossed of my list or pistols I like. Take it from there.

Very pleased with the M&P45. Not the smallest pistol every but i carry it under my t-shirt comfortably and concealed with no problems. I have large hands and this gun is very comfortable for me to shoot. Even if you have smaller hands you can change out the grip swell to fit you. I have probably close to a 1,000 rounds through it and not a single failure to fire or feed. That is with numerous different hollow points, ball ammo, and reloads. Breaks down easily and is easy to clean. As my every day carry gun 90% of the time i am confidant that if the need arises this weapon will perform as it should every time. The trigger is not bad but it is not great either. But, it is also not a match pistol so I cant expect a short travel, crisp, 2.5# trigger out of the box. There is aftermarket triggers out there if you are considering this gun for a competition weapon. As a carry gun though, out of the box, i couldn't be happier and its hard to beat the M&P line and price point. Thanks Bud's. Great prices and shipping like always.

Smith & Wessons are by far my best brand, This 45 is a great shooter and I carry it even for its size. Grip feels great and the trigger is great. I have put over 1000 rounds through it No problems at all, not one.

My first experience with Buds.. The gun itself is great, I knew what I was getting into as I have shot the model many times. I love the larger frame size and the quality of the gun from Buds is as expected (New). The gun chews through cheap ammo like a champ, I have yet to see a FF or FE on any of the M&P lineup. I went with this gun because it was a break from the guns I love which are CZ's , Tangfolio, and so on. I have shot the 9MM and find that the 45MM is a smooth shooter with little recoil. If you are looking for a nice gun that is quality tough than look no further. Ok also I have seen the countless complaints about the trigger and the gritty feel. I think so many folks are too hell bent on trigger trigger trigger. The trigger out of the box is a bit gritty and not what I would view as the best in the world. Now if you are a comp shooter than I can see the complaining, however if you are a comp shooter you are not going to be shooting this gun. Most the people who gripe about the trigger are the want to be tactical guys who watch countless hours of YouTube and go all Chuck Norris when buying equipment to look and play the part, but in reality are avg shooters. I am former military, I am not a comp shooter, and I have been shooting my whole life. Yes the trigger is meh, but when you pull it works without fail, I will save the 100 bucks on the trigger swaps and put it towards my next purchase. Again in my opinion this gun is top notch and you get a good gun for a really good price. As for Buds, I have never purchased online before, this gun was just sold out and hard for my guys to get in. All went smooth, the gun took about a week to ship which was a bit longer than I was under the impression it would take, but hey I am not the one to buy a gun and say OMG OMG I have to shoot it the day it comes in, I have plenty of others. Everything was smooth and got to my FFL in a smidgen under two weeks and I was happy with that.

Great service from Buds Gun Shop. Shipped extremely fast to my local FFL dealer for transfer, and after inspection of the weapon I was out of the door within 5 mins. Zero complaints about the S&W M&P 45. After a fast clean up of the gun I went to the range and put 50 rounds threw it. No jams and after minor adjustments the gun shot superb at 15 yards. I had previously owned the first gen. Sigmas and was skeptical of the trigger on the M&P's but was not let down. Smooth, crisp trigger pull right from the box.

Bud's was awesome to deal with, very fast shipping! The gun itself is superb! Excellent shooter, I have fired around 500-600 round through this gun without any issues at all! Trigger is a lot better than I was expecting from most youtube videos. This gun is downright awesome and I would highly recommend! Does it shoot as nice as a $1,500 Kim-er? No. But is it well worth the money? Absolutely! The look of the gun is impressive! The takedown is very easy. I highly, highly recommend!

It has been years since I bought a .45 and I was intrigued by the great reviews on this site and others with the M&P models. This model wasn't available as easy or was hard to find and I managed to find it at Buds. They I believe had to order it but the entire process didn't take long at all and the communication is excellent. The gun is might lighter than a traditional .45, easy to field strip and clean. I think it's easier to field strip than other competitors and handles great. I also like how they give you adjustable grips plus two magazines with the purchase as well. Overall I'm quite pleased with the M&P and Buds.

Out of the box, I had respectable groups (I'm not a pro) at 15 yards without adjusting the sights. The contoured grip with 3 diiferent palmswells will fit just about any hand. The contoured grip feels better to me than most 45's that typically have very blocky and bulky grips (excluding 1911's). It looks awesome in two-tone and got some attention at the range as fellow shooters looked on with desire. Unlike what I had been warned, the M&P did not have a poor trigger with a gritty feel. Did I just get lucky? My only negative, which is so minor, is that the take-down tool that fits into the grip and also locks in the palmswell of choice, is very tight and hard to get out. I had to lever it out with a screwdriver. Maybe it will loosen up with use. I was really looking forward to obtaining this pistol in dark earth and I am not disappointed. It's a Smith, afterall.

I purchased this gun do to the thumb safety and it wasn't that easy to find. I love this gun for it's color and its dependability I've shot it a couple times and already love it. Buds guns is a great place to buy from and I refer all my friends to this web site. I've bought a couple guns through here and will always return to buy another. Like others have said, this is a very accurate pistol with surprisingly low kick. If my memory serves me correctly the .40 cal glocks kicked more than this does. So far I've put close to 500 rounds through it no issues what so ever. The three backstraps allow you to select one that's most comfortable which allows for someone with big hands/long fingers to fire the weapon comfortably. Great price here as well.
