Customer Reviews for H&R 30-30 Winchester Single Shot/22" Barrel w/Rifle Sights

I looked at other 30/30 rifles and wasnt very happy on the reviews I was seeing on them. Just wanted a gun to go BANG when I pulled the triger and this was that gun. Made much better than I was expecting but was hard to find.Great gun for the money

I bought two of these rifles for my wife and I to deer and pig hunt. The quality is somewhat suspect in my opinion. Both guns have trigger pulls of over 6 pounds and one of the forends has the mounting hole drilled off center which causes the forend not to line up with the receiver. Both of these guns will have to go back to the manufacturer. Hopefully they will stand by their product. I will say that the barrels are quite nice, but everything else leaves a lot to be desired.

A nice rifle, shoots well, fit and finish are good. The hammer is a little harder to pull back than I would like, but the trigger is decent. It has a micro-groove barrel, nice weight and a natural balance to the gun, the recoil pad is nice. Overall this a better gun than I was expecting for the price.
