Buds of coarse was great . This a spectacular 22 lr, The cylinder works great, nice trigger pull. Love stainless steel . Shot approximately 200 rounds through this gun with not a single problem of any kind. I would definitely recommend this weapon to a friend . Thanks for your time to read this posting, Tim

I was amazed how quick I received my order....next day! Upon receipt, conducted a full inspection and I am very pleased with this pistol. Clearances seemed good and I hope to shoot it this weekend. This was my first order with Buds and I am sorry I did not start using Buds earlier....my mistake. Thanks Buds!!!

Received the gun 8 days after ordering and am happy with the revolver. The box was not damaged (I've received damaged boxes before when ordering online). The revolver is an excellent example of Taurus quality... I cleaned the gun thoroughly and took it to the range. Used several types of ammo and none of the spent brass were difficult to eject... Which is a common problem with .22 revolvers. The gun is heavy... 38 oz but has a great point and shoot feel. I used #4-6 plastic drywall anchors as snap caps and worked on the trigger. It is the best out of the box DA/SA trigger for a .22 revolver. DA is a bit heavy bit much better than the other Rossi and Charter Arms .22 revolvers I've had. The sights are awesome (I love the red ramp insert on front sight and nice large rear adjustable sight. I would recommend this gun to anyone searching for a straight-shooting reliable and accurate .22 revolver.

Once again Buds is awesome! This is my first revolver so when I say it is a little on the heavy side, it's probably just me. It is very well built and it is very accurate.

I've had a bit of a love/hate relationship with Taurus products over the years (love the prices/hate their inconsistency) having to send 3 of the six pistols I've owned back for repairs under warranty. This model was no different in keeping that relationship alive. It was purchased as a training tool for first-time shooters (CCW class) and as well as training companion for a Taurus 4 inch Tracker in .44 Mag that I owned (past tense). The first couple hundred rounds through the .22 were fine, but we noticed that as the revolver got hotter the cylinder started to stick a bit on 2 of the nine chambers. As the round count went up over the next few shooting sessions the problem got worse. After a hundred rounds or so the cylinder would not rotate no matter how hard you pulled the trigger on those 2 chambers. Manually cocking the hammer was out of the question also. So we sent it back to Taurus. The worked on it, sent it back the the problem was solved, but now the cylinder doesn't lock up as tight as I would like to making me wonder if timing problems will develop in the future. Bottom line: In my experience Taurus pistols and revolvers are hit and miss. I would rather buy a used one that I know works rather than risk buying a new one and have (in my experience) a 50/50 chance of sending it back. Bud's prices are hard to beat so if you're on a budget and willing to take a chance, this one might be for you.

I bought this because the price was too good to pass up. 200 rounds later, however, and the revolver developed timing issues. The hammer and cylinder need jimmied into position more often than not, and it's incapable of firing all nine rounds without operator intervention. It's going back to Taurus today - hopefully it'll come back fixed.

Excellent .22LR revolver. Very fun to shoot. Accurate, nice sights. Double action trigger is a bit heavy, but fairly smooth. Single action trigger is nice, light and smooth. 100% reliable so far. Great plinking pistol. I should've bought one a long time ago.

I have to say, this was probably the fastest i had ever recieved a purchase from buds to date. I ordered the revolver Friday morning and it arived at my FFL monday evening. Now on the the Tuarus 990, i have to say, i was a little worried that the there might be a problem with the little beast. Inspected it like the site suggests, making sure to check that the cylinder rotates and stuff, but its perfect. a few small scuffs on it is all i could find. Heck, i bout it as a cheap way to keep the fundamentals down. 250 rounds later and the only negative i can mention is the freaking double action trigger, yikes. 200 of the 250 rounds was shot double action and dang my nose picking finger is sore, hehe. Other than that i lubs this thing.

Looked great out of the box but that was about it. This was my first revolver so I didnt really know what to look for when inspecting it at my local dealer. If I knew what I know now I never would have accepted this gun. The gun has never been fired and has timing/cylinder stop problems. Completely disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated with no help. Found terrible machine work while disassembled, Now I have to send it in for warranty without ever being shot. This is my first and last taurus purchase.

Great service from buds, gun was in my hands in under a week. Really light and smooth SA trigger, id estimate a 12-15lbs DA trigger pull. Finish is a little off in spots. Overall a great gun at a great price.
