Accurate AF. We brought the 40 barrel exchange kit so we can fire it both 22 and 40. Great gun.

Decent but lots of misfires with the Armscor ammo. The Beretta M9/22 and my Browning 1911/22 have no issues why does this. Maybe better luck with CCI

Very nice pistol! Pricey..but SIG quality...adjustable sights a bonus.. Be certain to use HI or Hyper velocity ammo..at least 1280 fps and pistol will run just fine. Slide will not lock open when magazine empty but a non-issue for me. Thanks to Buds for stocking this fine pistol!

I had a P226 for years, until it was stolen. Wanted to replace it. Bought this one and also bought a 9MM conversion kit. Hundred bucks cheaper than buying a 9MM.
As a 22LR, it is not as reliable. Magazine feeding issues. As a 9MM, I trust it with my life, above all other guns I own. The smoothest, sweetest pistol I've ever shot.
And Bud's is always a treat to do business with.

Great handgun in 22lr! This is my second Sig P226 and it does not fail to impress. The sights were spot on and shoots very accurately. Great for practice using 22lr versus 9mm in my other P226 but still with the same trigger pull and overall feel.

Very nice full size pistol for practice or plinking . The adjustable sights are a plus and SIG provides a small adjusting tool so you do not have to hunt around for a proper size screw driver . Very few jams and all with cheaper bulk ammo . A nice pistol all in all .

Extremely fun to shoot! I ordered the pistol on Monday afternoon and it arrived on Wednesday. Great service! The E2 grips that come with it were a little small for my large hands. I got some Hogue grips that feel better. I ordered the 9mm x-change kit as well. The versatility was a deciding factor for ordering this gun.

Awesome Sig P226-22! A real bargain!! I broke it in last weekend with about 600 rounds of .22lr. Shooting a mix of CCI .22lr worked FLAWLESSLY: stingers, mini-mag HP and round-nose, standard velocity, all fed flawlessly. It had 4 FTFs out of 100 rounds of Federal Am. Eagle (fresh ammo) and 1 FTF out of 30 Remington. I then fired more CCI and, again, cycled flawlessly. Also, you can get a 9mm or .40 cal. kit to turn the pistol into a 9mm or .40 or whatever you like -- and it ends up being less expensive than buying a .40 or 9mm to start with! You can't beat this deal!

Purchased the Sig P226 22 lr for two reasons. First as a learning tool for anyone wanting to get into semi auto handguns and second as a platform for a higher caliber via the Sig conversion kits (already ordered). After obtaining from my local FFL contact put approximately 100 rounds through it using CCI Mini-mags (36 gr) which are copper coated HPs. Had three failed to fires, though the rim had been contacted. Reinserted rounds and they fired as expected. Probably a cartridge issue. Have also put 50 old Winchester Wildcats (lead bullet) through with no feeding problems. Am very impressed with accuracy out of the box (more accurate than I am) as well as the overall feel of the pistol. As others have noted, the lack of locking back slide on last round is a drawback (knew about this before purchase) that a company like Sig should be able to overcome, the only reason why I am giving a 4 rather than a 5. Would also say the length of the DA trigger pull is noticeably less than my Beretta 92 Compact. My overall impression is very favorable, both with respect to the Sig P226 and Bud's.

very nice pistol. basically a sig p226 with the .22 conversion kit installed. this model came with the hard case, newer style one piece grips, and two magazines. plan on getting the 9mm xchange kit when they become available again. also very happy with buds dealership. bob

I planned on getting the base frame with the .22 then upgrade to the 9mm. Cost with the conversion kit is about the same as a new 9mm. So the you get two guns for the price of one with the same trigger pull and etc. It's a p226 in EVERY way.. Fit and finish are perfect. No manufacturing grit. I took it to the range and put 400rds of CCI Blazer bulk 525 down the pipe. One FTF and one FTE on the first magazine then absolutely flawless thereafter. Accuracy offhand was about 2" at 10 yds. I wasn't really trying to target shoot though. Just get used to the gun and plink. Rear sight is fully adjustable and made it easy for me to adjust to my preferred 6 o'clock hold. There is something about the 226. Ergonomics are perfect. Buy one. Your grand kids will appreciate the purchase. Only gripe is there isn't an automatic bolt hold after the last shot. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

This is my second gun purchase with BUDS and once again excellent service. I traded (1) Ruger P95 and (1) Ruger P944 for this Sig P226 .22LR and the deal was completed in about 1 week. I highly recommend BUDS' Gurney Lee for any trades they gave me exactly the amount of money I wanted and I am super happy. I recommend BUDS to anyone on the market for a new or used gun these guys are the real deal. Thanks to BUDS and Gurney Lee for a smooth trade!

first thing BUDS service is the best, And Sig Sauer makes one great pistol, the 226R22B is built like all other Sig Sauers, NO BS. this is a real nice peice. I took it to the range as soon as I got it, it worked the best with Winchester Super-X Ammo ( fed well, most accurate), CCI Mini Mags, Federal, also fed well, but less accurate. the gun did not like the Rem. Golden bullets. (failed to feed). I needed a .22 Cal. for my Shooting Collection and I got ONE,
