caveat emptor for you Latin fans ... I read the reviews ... hit or miss - I got a miss - Extremely poor quality from our friends south of the border (God Bless NORTH America) - SS barrel hopefully can be buffed to get marks out of it - The forerm band was apparently tight, was beat on which will require disassembly, sanding and refinishing ... At the range there were several double feeds i.e. one live round in the chamber, one on the ground - This was a Christmas present for my son - I would have rejected at my FFL, but after waiting 3 weeks and getting it just before Christmas, this was his big present - I still like the configuration, the octogan barrel and SS receiver and butt plate are decent - ALL the screws were loose, except for one that was overtightened and damaged -- Don't look to the warranty to resolve these issues .... I bought the "tune up kit" from Steve's Gunz, hopefully we can work the problems out of this one .....

Got this rifle in June, but just recently had the time to get it to the range. It is great!. Shoots where you aim it. Too bad we had about a 15 MPH cross wind that day, made it really hard to shoot a tight group. Shoots 38's great, .357's are a noticable difference. Overall I would recommmend this rifle to anyone. Mine came with the most beautiful grained wood stock I could have hoped for, it is a real show peice. Bud's was great as always. Looking for my next purchase, got my eye on a Weatherby 30-06.

I feel I got a great deal from Buds. The gun shot straight and cycled great using .38 sp rounds. It would not chamber any .357 factory ammo I tried. I sent the gun back to Braztech a few days ago. I hope to have it back by the end of the year. I kind of expected this after doing all the research I did on em. I'd do it again in a heart beat.

The action on mine was very smooth. It feels like a hvy barreled gun. I am putting a tang site on and have not shot it yet. I am very happy with every thing so far. I have a blued round barrel and this stainless model seems like a better build. For the price this is a good buy. I will buy this in 45 long colt when they come in.

I looked at this gun for months finally bought one. I bought it cheaper than my FFL dealer could get one for me. First things first in is not a Henry! ,with that said this is a very nice gun. Looks very nice in stainless steel and an octagon barrel, fit and finish are fine. Just take your time loading it and working the lever action. If you work the lever action slow and easy it works every time, if you want fast action this gun might not be for you,it likes to jam the faster you move your hand. Other than that this is a beautiful gun and it shoots accurate to 100 yards. How fast a 357 mag round moving when it comes out of a 24" barrel? It seems very fast, lots of fun to shoot and Bud's is great to deal with.

Great gun for the money. Got mine wed but had to go out of town and couldn't shoot until Sat. (yesterday) Too cold to stay at the range very long but several .357 and several 38 spl cycled through the rifle proved this to be a wise purchase. I am extremely pleased with both the gun and buds service. I've stopped in the store and the retail staff is also very helpful and friendly even at christmas time when they were slammed with shoppers like myself. Keep up the good work! Dick N. Michigan

The gun is very well put together for the price. Fit and finish isn't flawless but I really like. Out of the box everything is a little stiff, I will give it 1000 rounds or so and then if it is still stiff someone who knows the 1892 will get it to work on. Accuracy was fantastic and I really think you'll like the stainless steel finish, not too shiny but just right. I bought a 1892 in 44 magnum but with case hardened finish and blued barrel, I can't make up my mind which one I like the best!
