got the pistol yesterday and after stripping and cleaning took it out and tried it out. First it is a very substantial gun. To me it seems about the size of my M&P compact but heavier since it is stainless and alloy. Made of what seems to be good parts except I was surprised at the plastic guide rod. It weighs 32 oz empty and 37.5 oz with 13 rounds. It was pretty accurate as I put 100 rounds of mixed round nose and hollow points through it, even out to 25 yards. It ran perfectly with no problems at all, very smooth. I'm still up in the air about the trigger. It has a lot of play until it breaks, this is my first full size Sig so I don't know if this is typical or not, this gun is supposed to have the SRT trigger. I am used to 1911 trigers that have been worked on and will get used to this one I am sure. This is a very cool pistol with nice heft and balance, great adjustable night sights, and I like the aluminum grips though I don't know if I would pay the $180 that Sig wants for them. As for Bud's, this is my 13th pistol from them in 10 months and number 14 and 15 are shipped and on their way and never a problem until now. When ever I have paid with a credit card communication has been good and gun in hand 3 days from order. This one had been in the shipping department 3 days and the two that I had ordered 2 and 3 days later had already shipped. I called to find out if there was a problem and got an unenthusiastic guy who just said that it would ship in 3-7 days and didn't even look up the order to check on it. A couple of hours later my FFL called and said that he had the pistol, Bud's web site still said it was in the shipping department. When I picked up the gun I found out it had been shipped from a different wholesaler and not Bud's. I don't really care where it came from but I like to be kept informed, guns are exspensive and I have spent a lot at Bud's because they have always been reliable. Any way, this morning I recieved an e-mail from Bud's that the pistol shipped today and is on it's way, though no tracking number. Kind of a screw up. I will still order from Bud's but my confidence has been shaken a little.
