My daily carry. I also have a compact striker-fire 9mm. When I can, i carry the 9mm. But this one comes with me no matter what. It’s just that easy to carry. Jacket pocket, pants pocket, summer time, winter time… this pistol is ALWAYS with me. 5 shots of 38 +P is the bare minimum for self defense, IMHO. This pistol is exactly that. Plus it’s light, and easily concealed.

That was my 3rd LCR.I have it in 327 Federal Magnum and 22 LR. Rugers LCRS are great revolvers! Well worth the cost.

My wife loves her new Ruger LCR in .38 Special. It fits her hand great and the recoil is light. Bud's had the best price and made our purchase simple and easy. Love it!

Again, It's a well known fact Ruger manufacturers quality firearms, so I will not waste words. This purchase exceeded my expectations and also promted my decision to purchase a LCR22. The action on this wheel gun is really smooth. As for legally concealed carry, it's definitely the goto pocket Pistol, no hammer, light weight, smooth extract to fire position and retrieval. The dependability is inherited from the name of the manufacturer.

This is a great concealed carry weapon. Used with a pocket holster for great concealment. This is my 4th Ruger LCR. A .22 cal, LCR-X in .38+P and now 2 LCR .38 +P's. I'm retired law enforcement and carry concealed. I interrupted a burglary in progress of our barn and held the suspect at gunpoint with my first LCR until LE arrived. Highly recommend this weapon. Bud's is great.

Only a few companies had availability for the revolver I wanted, and those were pricing the gun far above what Buds wanted for it. My order was processed and delivered as advertised. I bought the Ruger LCR in 38 Sp for my wife. She has an SP101, but thought in was too heavy to carry all day in her purse. The LCR is 1/2 pound lighter. That's a lot. The DAO trigger is nice. No stacking. It shoots 148gr HBWC beautifully, but snaps back pretty quickly with 110gr +P loads. I like it, but it is my wife's. It's very light and fits nicely in a front pocket, but with it's lack of heft, I'll have to find a different load for my wife. It's a great little gun.

This is what it is. A quality, lightweight carry revolver that has an excellent trigger for such a small gun. The advantage is that this is very comfortable to carry and the weight is such that you might forget you’re carrying. The disadvantage is that felt recoil in such a light gun can be uncomfortable and small revolvers like this can be difficult to shoot accurately. Guns like this need practice, but unfortunately it’s not much fun to practice with. That’s more of a critique of the small, lightweight revolver platform than this gun itself. This is a great gun and its in my EDC rotation, but just be sure the lightweight revolver platform works for you first before buying. If it does, then you can’t do much better than this. For its intended purpose this is definitely worth 5 stars.

Smooth action, the grip works well handling Plus P ammunition. Fits well in your pocked and being hammerless, you can fire it through your pants if necessary and not have a snag. It is not heavy, the composition is low-mantenience and it is fun to shoot. Great concealed carry gun. I carry it when riding my motorcycle.

We have two of these we bought for my wife, one in each of our homes. The first we bought about 6 months ago and the cylinder release was really hard to operate. I must have cycled it 500 times and doused it with Hoppe's until it finally came around. This one came in working fine; so Ruger must have figured it out.

The service from Buds Gun shop was A . The gun shot very well and easy to conceal. After about 40 rounds the white stripe on the front site came off.

This Ruger LCR has a great DA only trigger. It is extremely smooth and light. The LCR is an excellent carry weapon because of its light weight, small size and that excellent trigger.

I believe the Ruger LCR is a perfect weapon to C.C. for personal safety. At the range it was easy to load and shoot effectively. Using Federal 130 gr. FMJ target ammo there was almost no recoil. I rate it 5 Stars. As always, dealing with Buds is a good experience.
