Nice gun, works and looks great. I like the external hammer. Fit and finish are great.

Had the chance to take the new 9mm to the shooting range today, along with my Sig P320 .45 and my Walther CCP 9mm. Today was the first test of the Walther and the Bersa. I am thoroughly impressed with this Thunder Pro 9mm. I installed a Hogue grip a few days ago and now the feel of this gun is perfect and very comfortable to shoot. Very little recoil and shoots dead aim inside the bullseye. When it was the Walther CCP's turn to shoot I instantly wanted to put it down and pick the Bersa back up. The feel and accuracy rivaled the Sig. I had to learn to pull the trigger till breaking point and then just a tiny pull to shoot and it was very accurate.I love the solid feel of a metal gun and love the safety/de-cocker. Of course the transaction through Bud's was perfect too. My first purchase with Bud's but not my last.

LOVE my Bersa Thunder Pro 9mm! Smoooooth single and double-action trigger, SIGHTS SHOOT TO POINT OF AIM, 17 + 1 capacity, runs like a top with everything I've fed it, attractive two-tone finish, accessory rail, NO PLASTIC, and looks like a 9mm auto should! I purchased it primarily for Steel Challenge competition based not only on the features, but how much I also love my Bersa Thunder 9 Compact and Bersa Thunder .380. In my opinion Bersa makes fantastic pistols regardless of price, but just happen to also be economical. As far as I'm concerned the only thing Bersa lacks is SNOB APPEAL. Really look forward to seeing the looks on those snobs' faces when I light 'em up in competition with my lowly Bersa! BERSA ROCKS!

I have shot over 1000 rounds of reloads and factory ammo through this gun with no problems. It seems to cycle whatever you feed it. It will shoot rounds that jam my S&W 9mm. I really like the single action/double action with the decocker. This is a very safe gun to carry. You can shoot DA for action shooting and SA for target accuracy. I like it enough that I bought the same gun in 40SW. Great gun for the price.

I ordered this pistol not so much because of the price but because of the quality and reliability of the Bersa thunder 380 i bought 3 years ago. I hoped the 9mm Pro would be at least equal. I have shot about 400 rounds. Winchesters and my reloads and not one miss fire or jam. It is so much fun to shoot. Sights are dead on out of the box. My son-in-law, a veteran of the middle east war, shoot it and he was so impressed and loves it too. I own several pistols that cost 3 times as much but are not as balanced and smooth shooting. The clip is smooth and loads easy. Sights are easy to target. Buds was very helpful and fast with the order. I have sense ordered a shotgun and other reloading equipment. Best price and best service by far. Thanks Buds.

Had the gun for over 2 weeks now and have run about 400 rounds of cheap bulk ammo through it. It takes everything like a charm. I was concerned with a few reviews of the gun firing low, but quickly realized that is was the trigger that was throwing me off. Don't get me wrong, the trigger is very good, it just has a break very far back that can pull the front of the gun down if you are used to S@W and Glock style triggers. Once i felt it out after a few magazines, I was able to shoot exactly where I wanted to. The Gun came in pristine condition with no defects to my FFL. The factory grease was heavy on the gun, but i cleaned it off and reapplied some Hoppes and the slide action was smooth as butter. The gun has a very nice weight and balanced feel. The grips are extremely comfortable for my hands, though if you have small hands it might be an issue for you. Came with 2 STEEL magazines that go in and pop out extremely smooth. Breakdown of this gun is by far the easiest I have ever dealt with for a semi automatic handgun. Flick the lever and the slide comes forward and off in one motion. getting to the barrel and spring/guide rod is simple as pie. Overall for the price, this gun is an insane value. Don't think that quality has to cost an arm and a leg. This gun is one of my favorites in my collection now. Also the Duotone finish and look makes for a slick looking guns that got a few compliments at the range.

First off, I can't say enough about Bud's. I placed the order for this pistol at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 12. On Friday, May 13, I got a call from my FFL at 1 pm saying that my pistol had arrived. I thought that had to be a mistake, but sure enough, there it was! And I didn't pay extra for expedited shipping or anything -- it just got there the very next day. I was blown away. Bud's is the best! On to the pistol itself. I looked it over at the FFL and it seemed fine, wrapped in plastic with a removable tag on the trigger guard, a little bit of dirt on the inside near the feed ramp, and just one small nick on the slide itself. I signed for the gun and took it home and field stripped it and I was shocked: this gun was DIRTY inside. I mean, really dirty -- more than just packing grease or cosmoline. It took a very very thorough cleaning to get the gun ready for use. Several barrel patches came out very dirty, and I started to suspect it might be a used gun. But Bud's responded quickly when I raised that question and verified by the serial number it was brand new and had been received from Bersa manufacturing only a week earlier. So bear that in mind if you order one. I really like the weight and the look of this gun. Feels very solid in my hand, and I like the function of the safety/decocker. But I was very disappointed with how it shot, using several different types of 9mm ball ammo. The sights are quite off, low and to the right, and consistency was very troublesome. The bottom of the front sight has to be aligned with the top of the rear sight in order to shoot level. This is apparently a common problem with this pistol, as a quick google search will reveal. I am by no means a great shot, but I had several others try it with the same issues. Disappointing. I will be trading it for something else.

I ordered this weapon Oct. 3rd and my local FFL received it Oct.15th. Took it to the firing range the next day and ran 200 rounds through it. If ran flawlessly. I used Federal 147 grain FMJ, Blazer 124 grain FMJ and Sellier and Bellot 115 FMJ. No Hiccups whatsoever. My wife was shooting the gun with me and she likes it as much as I do. I have owned a Bersa Thunder 380 for over 14 years and I can't say enough good things about Bersa. For the price they are an excellent value and dependable. Bud's had the best price and this is the second gun purchased from them. Don't be afraid to buy this gun.

Bud's was great. No problems and fast shipping. The full size Bersa Thunder 9 is about the same dimensions as a commander length 1911 but lighter because of the aluminum frame. It's still too big for me to carry but my husband sometimes does. When the safety is engaged it decocks the hammer and disconnects the trigger. The trigger has a steady and smooth pull in double action with a short reset and minimal take up in single action. It has a steel guide rod and full length slide rails. The grips are the meatiest part but the thick blackstrap helps distribute recoil making the kick very tame. Takedown is a breeze. Both the safety and slide release are ambidextrous. At 20 yards I can put all 17 rounds in the ten ring. It's really shocking how much gun you get for such an affordable price. I like it even better than more expensive models from other manufacturers.

This is a great gun! It's right on target right out of the box. Only got about 300rnds through it so far with no failure. It feels real good in your hand, very natural feel.

I have owned one of these (my first 9mm pistol) for nearly a year, and couldn't be happier with it. It shoots great and is very reliable. Great trigger feel and nice short reset. It seems a bit large for CC, and I wish Bersa made a slightly smaller version of this gun that is identical in all features (i.e. to scale) as this one. It's a gem!

Great gun, Shot 250 rounds on my 1st trip to the range with it, and it ate everything I fed it. Magazines are a bit tight, I would strongly recommend a speed loader.

Buds delivered as usual less than a week. The gun performed with no problems and was well balanced, accurate, reliable. Could not ask for a better value in an all metal gun, low weight, two 17rd mags, da/sa trigger, good ergonomics, great price! You will not be sorry with this gun, easy to break down for cleaning and not bad to look at either.

This is the first handgun that I've purchased. It comes withe 2 mags, which is good. The mags are hard to load so I bought a HKS loader that works with the mags, with a little modification to the loader, and will take the full 17 rounds now. The gun is nice. I have big hands and it fits perfectly with my hands. It is a heavy gun, but I like the heft. It has good balance. The finish leaves a little to be desired as it is starting to show wear on the slide already and I have only put 50rds through it. I had 2 FTE's on the 50rds but it just may need some more breaking in. It's fairly accurate out of the box but will get better, I'm told, as I shoot it more. The trigger pull is a little heavy but I'm getting used to that already. Overall a nice gun.
