Another fine product from Remington. I keep my Colt Cobra 38 loaded with it and I know I can depend on it. I also keep a speed loader nearby hopefully I never need it but it's there if I do.

Favorite 38 Special +P carry ammo

This ammo performs exceptionally well in my Smith 686-6 and my 442-1. It hits at point of aim and has been proven to reliably expand upon impact. This has the added benefit of not fouling the barrel with lead as its a semi-jacketed round, thus preserving accuracy in your platform. I confidently carry this ammo in my revolvers daily.

This is an excellent home defense round for my .357 mag. The recoil if VERY manageable, reliable, stable ammo that WOULD get the job done" - If needed. I have been carrying this brand and this "bullet load" for many many years in my Model 19. No complaints, no issues. Excellent value for the Money.

I love this ammo. Much more punch than standard 38 special but not as hard on your knuckles as 357 magnum. Shoots accurate. Reasonable price.

These are a great choice for personal protection for folks with a .38 Special revolver, or even a .357 Magnum if you prefer the reduced recoil of .38 Special ammo. They do have a bit more flash than some of the competing brands, and to achieve good expansion I think at least a 3" barrel is needed, but overall I found these to be very accurate in my wheel guns and very consistent with point of aim. I compared them side by side with Remington's HTP 125 grain SJHPs and I can't tell any difference in group size or point-of-aim vs point-of-impact. Other than the HTP rounds only being available in 20 round boxes, being more expensive, and having Nickel plated cases, I don't think there's any real difference. Good stuff from the UMC line!

These semi jacketed hollow points are a good choice for defensive carry with a moderate recoil, flash, and smoke in my snubnose revolvers. I'm comparing this design against full jacketed and notched nose types of plus p's. I find I can comfortably fire several cylinders of these Remingtons without recoil fatigue like the more aggressive plus p's, giving me more experience with grip and sight picture. Good product from Buds.

Very hard to find 38 special self-defense ammo in 50 round capacity at this price.125gr +p sjhp . This is very accurate out of my Colt python 4 1/4 in barrel and also my Taurus856 subnose .
