I absolutely am in love with this handgun. This gun exceeds my wildest expectations and I truly believe anyone who is considering purchasing the M&P9 Carry and Range Kit could not go wrong and will be ultimately as happy as I have been.
I bought this Weapon/Kit based upon the glowing reviews from my twin brother and nephew, who both purchased this identical product 1 or two years before me. Their 100% reviews of the product made my decision easy. I did not even try this gun before the purchase to see if it would be right for me. I am happy with my decision and have never considered otherwise.
My hats off to Smith & Wesson for getting it right when they designed this gun!

The range kit came with a Bladetech holster and a 2mag mag pouch, 3-17rd mags and sm, med, Lg backstraps which are easy to change and seemlessly blend in to the pistols grip. I changed out the white dot sights and put Ameriglo TFO PRO Sights on the front has a his vis orange and the rear green. I love thes sights! It's fast and easy to acquire the target and the glow very bright at night and the sun really lights up the fiber optic sights. My only complaint is the trigger has a lot of take up and doesn't break as clean as my Glock an has a longer reset, but it is still very accurate and handles Federal 147grain P HST loads well. I've fired cheap Tula, Winchester Steel case to 115,124 blazer to 147 grain and never have had a problem with feeding or ejecting. I also bought M&P's in 40S&W and 45ACP, they all function flawlessly!

I've owned this gun for several years before finally writing a review. I lost track of how many rounds I put thru it but I honestly don't recall ever having a single issue.

I have put over 2000 rounds through it and it still fires perfectly.

Right out of the box this thing is spot on target. I'm not a pro on hand guns by any means but being able to hit a gallon jug at 50 yards with consistency makes me happy. I've put 100's of rounds through this gun without any problems! I love S&W, they make a great product.

Let me start with this. I had a terrific experience with this purchase. This was the first hand gun I have bought and I was treated like the most important person Bud's has ever had, and I am grateful. I have not had a chance to get to the range yet and determine if this was what I needed for range and home defense. I will definitely becoming back in the future.

Love this M&P 9mm, i've put well over 1,000 rds through-it with no issues at all. Accurate sites right out of the box.

Just took delivery of my S&W MP 9mm range kit. Haven't had a chance to get to the range with it yet, but if it performs the way the others I have tested did, I know I will be happy. The range kit is nicely packaged in a decent quality case and comes with everything you need except ammo and a belt for the holster. Anyone looking for a good starter package should definitely take a look at this range kit!

This m&p range kit is an excellent deal, gun came clean ready to shoot out of the box. Smooth operating, with an awesome array of accessories. Would recommend to anyone looking for a decently priced pistol kit. The only cons I have were the length of time the payment method took (almost a week), and I will definitely not ever use Cabela's as an ffl again as it took almost 3 hours to pick up my firearms with a cpl. I will recommend buds guns to anyone willing to take the leap of making an online weapon purchase.

Buds offered a great deal on a great sidearm...it was a no brainer for me. With the decision to pick the sidearm that I chose Buds being the class A gunshop that they are just topped the experience off with utter satisfaction. I ordered the S&W M&P 9mm. After doing all my research I believe, and so did my FFL, that I made an excellent decision. I ordered the range kit and it was a steal as far as I am concerned. It came with everything as described on the website and arrived it what I believe was record time. I have not been to the range with my newly aquired sidearm however, by everthing I have researched about it, it will not be a disappointment. Thanks again to a quality organization, Buds! I love my M&P 9, great pistol and the range kit fits my needs perfectly. As a woman shooter this has been a perfect companion for me to complete my CPL with ease and use multiple times at the range for target practice. I use a Ladysmith for concealed carry, this M&P 9 is not a conceal carry pistol as it is too large for that for me. I've experienced zero problems, every round has fired accurately and with ease. I've put around 1500 rounds through this since I've bought it and plan on shooting many more in the future. The speed loader is a favorite with all my lady friend shooters during range nights, especially for our soft finger pads, really saves us some pain and gives us ease of loading and we can fire many more rounds in our hour of shooting than we used to. It's full size and 4.25" barrel might make some ladies hesitant, but I love the feel of it when at the range. My hands are smaller and I have no problems with the grip at all, it's not bulky or hard to grip two-handed. The range kit also has 3 extra grips in varying sizes. I recommend this over a Glock any day and have changed a few friends' minds as many women are told the Glocks are the "easiest" and "simplest" for women when they are shopping for pistols. I can field strip and clean my S&W M&P 9 with ease and without spending hours on cleaning, usually done in about an hour for a deep clean. I hope a review from a just a regular everyday woman shooter helps someone out. I'm no expert and never try to be, and this pistol has provided me with exactly what I purchased it for. Buds is great and I never find online deals on firearms that compare to their prices.

REALLY GOOD PISTOL FOR RANGE AND DUTY.

I'm a first time user of the S&W M&P9, and I am loving it. I have put 350 rounds through it. The gun has worked fine to this point. It shoots accurate, and I haven't had any magazine misfires. The 3 magazines and the magazine loader that came with the kit made this a sweet deal.

If you are in the market for a nice 9mm, this is it. I just ran 300 rounds without any flaws. I would trust my life with this M&P. the deal with the holsters and three mags are great. Buds did a fantastic job of customer service and shipping my gun. ordered it and the next day it was on a UPS plan to be delivered in two days! I cant say enough of how happy I am with Buds. this is my first gun I have bought online and it will not be the last!

Bought this about a year ago from buds. First off the gun itself, the feel was great, fit in the hand really well. I like the mag release button and mag eject drops out empty mags very fast. Iv fired about 300 rounds through it with no issues at all really good gun. The one issue I have with it is the slide release is very stiff is the only reason for the 4-5 stars, but the recoil is great shoots so easy you'll want to rapid fire every day you shoot it. the mag loader this range and carry kit comes with is awesome so glad I got it.

Another fast, easy transaction with Buds. M&P Range Kit is greal and a great deal to boot. Gonna break it in this weekend.

buds had/has a great price on this set.i paid 525!my local gun store has it for 599 plus tax and 539 for the firearm it's self. i kept seeing bad reviews on the trigger and i just got back into shooting 6 months ago and wanted to start of well.so i got a glock 23 and a 19 both have extended mag&slide release's and the ghost 3.5 trigger connector and are gen 4's, but i think the trigger is as good or better on the m&p.i heard s&w has done a few revisions to the trigger the spent case that came in the kit was from 4/12/14 so it may be the latest and greatest trigger.it has a good trigger break and tactile/audible reset for my taste i actually like the trigger and .there is 1 more thing i want to point out is the kit was put together on 4/12/14 i can only assume the kit at my local dealer is older possibly 2 years or more.bud's sells so many guns that you will get the latest production run/model...... this will be in my CC rotation.
