There is one problem however. The grips do not fit well. They are too small on the front and leave metal to be gripped by the hand instead of wood. I will be changing them for a pair that fits fully.
The sights are easily adjusted and the gun points naturally but I would have liked a higher visibility front site instead of all black. Looking around at after market it is easily and cheaply replaced if it becomes an issue. The entire front sight assembly comes off, not the blade. Only 1 screw to loosen. The cylinders are clearly marked. The LR is fluted and the magnum cylinder is not. There is some creep which is par for the course with a transfer bar system but with a little practice it almost becomes two stage. First the take up to the "wall" then the letoff itself is quite crisp. If you are debating between this and a cheaper single action revolver this will never disappoint. I can't say that about the cheaper guns.
One last thing: if you are torn between the stainless steel and the blued version the stainless steel gun is all steel. The blued version uses an aluminum grip and ejector rod shroud. Lighter but I want the strength of steel in a handgun like this. Same applies to the centerfire Blackhawks except for the Super Blackhawk.
