Love it. Reliable, shoots well, accurate, stillish. One thing, have to tighten all screws before and after shooting.

What a beautiful gun. Perfectly balanced 357 mag with beautiful design. My favorite in my collection

First off, Bud's was very easy to purchase thru. The gun is beautiful in stainless and shoots like it looks. I have 100 rounds through it in both 357 mag and 38 spl it handled both very well with no issues. The weight of the gun makes recoil not an issue and with a 6 1/2" sight plain very accurate. Been shooting at 25 yard and will push it to 50 in the next visit.

I have been waiting for this gun for more than 40 years! Well, not this particular gun, but I first shot a .357 Western revolver (Ruger) 43 years ago, and hit most of what I aimed at! This weapon is BEAUTIFUL, and shoots as good as I dreamed it would. The best price in years, and I have been watching. Got shipment in 2 days!

This gun was exactly what I expected through reading the descriptions given by retailer. I am now a dedicated ruger man since receiving this Blackhawk. This is a well made revolver Able to handle hot loads with ease. I am now looking forward to purchasing RUGER REDHAWK HUNTER for my deer hunting. Sorry that I have nothing negative to say about this gun, or Buds gun shop, since they made it so easy to make this online purchase.

Bought a Ruger 0319 Blackhawk .357, stainless with 6 1/2" barrel and rosewood grips. I had shopped around and Bud's has the best price hands-down. Shipping was fast and communication through email was great. The gun arrived at my local FFL dealer in perfect shape and everything went very smooth. The guys at the gun store were all drooling over the gun when I took it out of the box to check it. Brought my new Ruger home and fired off 12 rounds - wow, what an awesome gun!

I have shot Ruger firearms for most of my life and have had great success with them I ordered this revolver to add to my collection of shooters and thought it would be the same reliable weapon as the others I have or had. But this one was not to be one of those. No matter what I do, it just doesn't shoot well. Even from a rest at 7 yards, the groups are not even recognizable as a group. Up, down left right, it shoots all over the target. I am so disappointed, I just stuck it back in the box and have not sent it to Ruger to see what they think may be wrong. When I finally do that, I will try to update this review.

I have shot a couple of hundred rounds of 38 special and 357 mag through this gun. It functions flawlessly. It is a very big handful of stainless steel to carry around. The weight and balance might be an issue for some shooters. Rugers are fairly tight guns that tend to give higher muzzle velocities than S&W , but can be a bit more particular about ammo. When I was reloading using a 3 die set, I had reloads that would jam this gun but shoot fine in a SW N frame. This problem disappeared when I switched to a 4 die set. On the positive side, this Ruger has a very thick barrel and cylinder which should be very forgiving of hot reloads. I use it to try out new 357 mag loads. If I needed to confront a brown bear, this would be my gun of choice. My wife can shoot it OK, but it is not her favorite gun. Overall, I like the gun and am glad that I bought it.

Fun gun. Good balance, great trigger and wonderful finsih. If you want to have a fun revolver that is great to shoot, this is a good chioice. Ruger really makes some fine guns espcially in revolvers.

this is a very nice revolver has a great fit and feel to the hand. nice group pattern. Ruger it a very good brand and own multiple Rugers. Buds has never let me down!

This stainless Ruger Blackhawk .357 is one beautiful firearm. I ordered it on a Sunday afternoon and received it on Tuesday morning, how did they get it there so fast. This is very well made, heavy, rugged, and i can't wait to get it out to the range. So far it has exceeded my expectations. My wife even likes it. Still can't get over how fast I got it.

I have never been disappointed in Ruger, and this little beauty is no exception. Ruger makes some of the best revolvers out there, and this one is beautiful, accurate and balanced. I have put about 200 rounds through her thus far, and it fires like a dream. My daughter is only 100lbs and the recoil is easy enough for her to handle without any problems. I will warn though that if you have big hands, (like I do) you might want a Redhawk instead to fit all of your fingers on to it comfortably. We have been shooting at 25yds to 40yds and this gal can put 'em center mass with the factory set iron sights no problem.

I am new to single action revolvers but this is on beautiful gun that is very fun to shoot. Only complaint I had was the grip, which was very easy to remedy. Couldn't be happier. Thanks buds.

I finally ordered the Blackhawk to go with the Single Six .22 I have. They are a perfectly matched set, big and little brother. I have about medium size hands so this is definitely a two handed hold, since it weighs over 3 pounds with 6 rounds of 38 or 357. First day out I was putting 6 rounds in less than 2 inch groups at 25 feet, offhand. Ruger has perfected the sweet light single action trigger pull in both the Single Six and Blackhawk, it measured just under 3 pounds with absolutely no creep, it seems to simply goes off. The stainless steel look with beautiful rosewood grips is a work of art, it's almost too pretty to shoot, almost. I've always liked the single action revolver because it is so easy to take apart plus stainless is much easier to clean than blue, in my opinion. Bud's service was flawless as usual. I picked up my Blackhawk at FFL dealer about a week after I ordered it. Bud's and Ruger both 5 Stars.

Got this Ruger in a very reasonable amount of time----It feels SO good in you hand and it looks good also---I think when I am long gone--this will still look good and work as new. It is one that you just have to have to say " I GOT ONE OF THOSE" and it is cool !!! Thanks .

What a fantastic revolver. The fit and finish on the gun is awesome. It's a Ruger what more can you expect? Haven't fired it yet, but I plan on doing that very soon. I purchased some Altamont Rising Eagle grips in Super Rosewood. They look and feel outstanding on this gun. Can't wait to take it to the range. The transaction with Buds was flawless as usual.

Love this gun. Looks great in stainless and easier to clean. Extreamly accurate. It could use a colored insert for the front site. I put a drop of white nail polish on mine. This gun will be around long after I'm gone.

I learned of Buds from a friend that bought a Smith & Wesson .44 mag from them. He had great things to say so I purchased my Ruger Blackhawk in .357. This thing is SWEET!! I loaded it up with .38 special and it was almost like shooting.22LR. Almost no recoil. I then loaded with .357 and I was pleasantly surprised. Recoil was very easy to control. Two handed, one handed, weak side, no problems whatsoever. I have a couple of friends with various Glock models in 9mm. One of them shot the Ruger and the next question was where did you get this and how much? Great gun. Buds ROCKS!! I created an account and ordered the gun shipped to the local FFL and used Buds check by phone option. I received a confirmation e-mail with my order number within a few minutes. I placed the order on 5-15-12 and the gun was shipped to my FFL on 5/22 and I received an e-mail with the ups tracking number. I picked up the gun on 5-24-12. I will be purchasing more guns through Buds in the future.

This is a great pistol to shoot, fires .38 and .357. Very smooth function and almost looks too beautiful to shoot. Almost that is. One thing I have found is that Flitz will clean any stainless weapon right up. When you hold this weapon, you know where each and every dollar you spent on it went. Its well worth the price.

I love my Blackhawk. It is my first single action that is not a 22, and it is everything I hoped it would be. I bought some Buffalo Bore hot loaded 180 grain and it handled it great, though it did remind me of a friend's Super Blackhawk. The 6 1/2 inch barrel doesn't clear leather quickly, but that's not why i bought it. The action is crisp, the cylinder rotates smoothly. Some people don't like the click click click of the cylinder as it rotates but to me it just sounds like good Ruger engineering. My next gun will be a 45 Blackhawk.
