My transaction with Buds Guns was legit. Was super fast and easy. Also, my Mossberg 590 is awesome. Love it!!

Did not like the forearm as it was too heavy and made the gun unbalanced especially when loaded with shells. I swapped it out with cheap lightweight polymer forearm and the put a magazine tube tri-rail weaver mount and a streamlight TRL-2s and a set of ghost ring sights on it. It is really nice and very deadly. The shell holder in the stock is nice and helps to balance the gun out, but still won't balance that heavy forearm. Don't need the heat shield but lets face it, its cool! All and all I would have to say this is the perfect home defense weapon, especially when fitted with a good laser/light combo. I have offed some coyotes with it in the dead of night on the run with no problem. This is a great shotgun!

This was my first Mossberg shotgun and I have to say so far it's been a great gun. I'm a LEO so I was trained on a Rem. 870 and also carry one in my car. When it came time to buy a personal shotgun I wanted to branch out and this one caught my eye. I have put several hundred shells through it since I bought it. This includes a mix of birdshot, slugs and 00 buckshot. I have only had one issue when a shell failed to fire. Upon inspection of the shell it had been struck but didn't go off. I reloaded the shell and it fired the second time so I chalked that one up to faulty ammo. The action is little smoother than that of an 870 and I definately prefer the 590's action release over the 870's, it's just in a more natural spot and can be more easily manipulated. Over all it's been a great gun so far. The heat shield makes it look BA and the speed feed stock gives you those four extra rounds at your fingertips. I also added a six shell side saddle which also looks great on this gun. Buds sevice was quick and easy as always, thanks Bud's

This Shotgun is a Beast. Fells real solid while handling and shooting. Ran some 3 inch slugs through it and Oh Boy! What fun but definitely need to invest in a recoil pad. Shoulder hurt...but it hurt so good. Bud's was great, fast shipping, good pricing. Was my first firearm purchased from Buds but won't be my last.

This was my 2nd purchase from Buds and the transaction went flawlessly. The shotgun showed up in perfect condition. The shotgun's finish was perfect and its mechanical parts functioned smoothly and properly. I took the unnecessary step of breaking the gun down and cleaning up the excess oil it's shipped with before taking it out to shoot. Afterward I ran 200 rounds of federal value bird shot and 10 Winchester SuperX rifled slugs without a single problem. The speedfeed stock has performed its roll perfectly as well. I've had zero issues with all 4 shells going in and staying in the stock. My only complaint about this shotgun is that it's not parkerized as it is listed on here or Mossberg's own website. It's actually matte blue like the rest of non-A1 590 line of shotguns. I expected this to be the case though, seeing as this shotgun is just a model 50665 590 with a tri-rail forend instead of the standard issue ribbed forend on the 590 series of shotguns. To clear up some further confusion for some people, this is in fact a 590. The box lists it as a 500 on the sticker but it is identical to a 50665 590. The receiver is in fact stamped 590 12ga. Hopefully this helps some people make a decision. Happy shooting!
