Hate to leave a negative review but the Heritage Rough Rider .22 is literally a piece of junk. Can’t be 100% sure but it looks like I received a used or refurbished weapon. When I inspected it at FFL, it appeared to operate properly. In the 2nd notch position, the cylinder turned freely and I put it in fully cocked position which it operated correctly. When I got it home, I switched out the .22/.22mag and it would not operate. Switched back and the .22lr cylinder failed to operate. The apparatus that turns the cylinder gets stuck when put in the 2nd position. At that point it becomes extremely difficult to remove the cylinder. The.22 mag will not turn at all. With cylinders removed, the action will operate properly. 1st, 2nd and fully cocked position works okay. Only happens with cylinders installed. Guess now it gets sent to factory to see it can be repaired. Also noticed that every cylinder chamber had been fired on both cylinders. Never heard of anything other than firing every other chamber. Both cylinders were fired in the same way. Can’t prove it but it appears a lot of rounds were fired hence the suspension of used. Very disappointed but guess I’ll have to deal with it. My suggestion is if you purchase one of these, be very diligent when inspecting

As a farmer raising my own food, I was looking for an inexpensive revolver to put small stock down for butcher. This fits the bill as it is inexpensive enough that I don't worry about dinging it up on the farm during butchering. This is not to say it is a piece of junk, quite the contrary. The bonus is that my grand children love to shoot it as it has a small frame. My only complaint is the safety takes a little to get used to as I am used to old school single actions. Neat plinker for the weekends this Summer. came in quick, my ffl was easy to work with and Buds? #awesome!! This was my 1st online purchase of a firearm and I have to say... Really a simple deal. Thanks to Buds for making it so. So far I've put 50 rounds of 22wmr through and its been great.

Love this gun!! Long Rifle and Magnum cylinders give it some variety. Slows down the shooting and make the range much more affordable!! Highly recommend!!

A friend gave me my first Heritage Rough Rider and impressed the heck out of me. That for a lower price you get a revolver at least as good as the others. For a rimfire SAA I to can see no reason to by anything but a Heritage. Has a convenient thumb safety which I rather like. It is a bargain price gun that will stand up to any of the rest.

The frame of the pistol looks to be powder coated and a couple places was missing the coating. Besides that the pistol is very functional and accurate. Does what its supposed to do.

A great deal for the money it cost. Does what it is supposed to do. A pleasure to shoot.

This is one sweet gun. I waited a long time to get a 9 shot pistol. This is one gun I'll be keeping.

With a little Cleaning and Oil this will fit my needs, very well. This gun will surprise you if your into Plinking / Target Practice Easy to change out Cylinders from 22LR to 22 Mag. Even has a Safety Block left Side of Cylinder on Frame Something you will not find on other Single Actions. In theory you could load all nine chambers as Hammer is blocked from resting on firing pin/round. As a Instructor I would tell you not too as Any Safety on Any firearm could fail. For the Money good looking single action firearm. Nine Shots vs.Six Cylinder Change out made easier once Clean and Oiled. I would Recommend. Would have given five Stars few Cosmetic dings on Frame nothing to effect action of Firearm. Fast Service from Buds.

This is an excellent low budget firearm. It does what it needs to do. A must if your looking for a reliable and low cost firearm.

This is a good 'value' revolver. Simple, it works, looks good, is comfortable to hold and to shoot. Really like the single action as well as having both 22LR and 22WMR options at hand. Not so smooth in changing the cylinders as the locking pin is a little tight and can jam up. But for having reliability (not necessarily longevity) in a fun single-action revolver. We will buy again. At the low cost, just get 2 or 3 and when one someday gets tired, swap it out ;) Recommended. We enjoy it.

Great 9 shot 22,this is my second one ,the first has about 5000 rounds thru it and still running great. Wanted a 9 shot and got a good deal on this one fit and finish very good,took it to the range ,good accuracy for fixed sights,ran 500 rounds with no problems. Buy yourself a handful of fun.

Had some fun with this plunking in the woods ! My daughter was a better shot than I. For the cost of this gun, I don't expect it to last a lifetime.

Not as accurate as longer version. Sights slightly off, but fixable. Good plinker. Screws started backing out after 200 rounds. Finish will start coming off pot metal parts fairly quickly. Locks up tight and function is perfect. Good value for what you get.

The fit and finish of wood to metal is good on the example I received and the color and figure of the cocobolo grips are nice. I will have to adjust to the sights as they are off a bit at 25 yards but no worse than any other colt saa clone I've handled. The cylinder lock up is nice and tight and the cylinder pin fits well and is easy to remove and replace. I fired several cylinders of magnum and LR and after each I removed the cylinder to look for lead shaving or any indication of misalignment and happily didn't find any issues. So far this little revolver is well worth the price.

No complaints. Great price and fast shipping from Buds and an excellent little 9 shot revolver with 2 cylinders. Everything was as advertised.

Here's a case of "you get what you pay for". It shoots but spits lead. If you do not pull the hammer back beonned the last click. The gun will not annolox properly. It's Accurate enough and a great way to waste an afternoon. It's a gun you won't mind scratching or dropping. Again you get what you pay for.
