I didn't pay $6K for this! Not sure where that came from. This gun is awesome and very powerful. It feels twice as powerful as a 9mm but I know it's not. Guns has never had an issue. Ruger makes some great stuff!

Trigger was a little gritty so I replaced it. Now it's smooth with a shorter stroke

Love my pistol... Came super fast... Although I had trouble racking the first round.. after a good cleaning and lite oil.. No problems whatsoever.. Be sure to clean and oil your new pistols they are stored in warehouses and get dry as well as collect dust... Love buds

Great firearm at an even better price. Pistol is very balanced when shooting and recoil is minimal. Fits well in the hand with full magazine and great for conceal with 9 round magazine.

for a reasonable price. My new SR40c is no exception, right out of the box I fired mixed rounds through it
to check for failure to feed. No failures, gun performed flawlessly.

I really have enjoyed this firearm. Fun to shoot and does not hurt my hand when I shoot. Powerful enough to knock them down and lite enough the carry. Precise too while shooting and easy to handle. My first pistol. I would recommend the Ruger sr40c to both women and men.

Buds and Ruger big thumbs up AAA++++Ordered April 10 recd April 15.Ruger makers a great handgun.25 yards fron a rest with is im shooting 1 to 2inch groups at 25 yards from a rest.At 30 feet i can get them all touching on impact.I own a security 9 many mk 111 and 22/45 .All top nothch handguns.This is my 3 rd ruger sr series handgun and most likely the best.

This is a very versatile gun. Easy to carry with the 9 round mag and fun at the range with the 15 round mag. Its not to bulky or to tall to carry even with the 15 round mag. Ruger makes a great product.

Bud’s did a fantastic job as always. Fast and reliable service. I ended up getting a lemon of a gun though, that had some internal mechanism issues, which I’ll explain, but I’ll review the positive aspects of the gun as well. Positive: Decent sights Fits well in your hand I like the two different mags (one standard, one extended) that came with it Great hard case. Negative: not the best trigger. Pretty mushy. Had lots of misfire issues (see below) So I took the gun to the range, and within the first magazine I had a misfire. After checking the unfired round, it was evident that there was a light strike (“insufficient indent”) on the primer. Thinking it may be the ammo, even though it’s statistically very rare to have a bad primer, I pressed on. I had several more misfires. Still giving the gun the benefit of the doubt, I bought a different brand of ammo for my next trip to the range. With the different brand I still had misfires. I sent the gun in to Ruger, who completely replaced the trigger assembly for no cost to me other than shipping and handling. They advised that they had test fired the gun and it was not misfiring, but once I took it to the range, it still was. I ended up selling it and buying a more reliable gun that could cycle any ammo. Hopefully mine was just a lemon, because otherwise it would be a fine pistol to have.

Another excellent Pistol from and excellent company (Ruger). I have no complaints about this pistol and I'm pretty sure you wont either. It is so accurate and feels great in the hand whether you are a lefty or a right handed shooter (I tried both hands)!

I am very happy with Buds Gun Shop. He had the best price I could find by far. It's not like going to your local dealer and getting a gun on the same day but if you don't mind waiting a week and a half (in my case) buy what you need here. Love everything about the gun except the 6/7 lb. trigger. No big deal. Gonna change it to a 3.5 lb. trigger and still have the gun for less than I could find it anywhere else.
