Nice little gun. Laser functions well. Gun never had a misfire or feeding issue. A lot of recoil though, but I guess that is to be expected with 3.1” barrel on 9mm.

I have used my Ruger LC9 now for over 10 years with no issues. I consider it the perfect concealed carry 9mm pistol.

Fun little gun at a good price. Easy to shoot, a bit small for my hand but I knew that going in. Very concealable. I have not had any issues after hundreds of rounds at the range.

Thanks Bud’s for an effortless transaction on this pistol. The LCP is a great gun and I’ve had zero problems after shooting it for 2 years. Quick shipping too !

I am a big fan of Ruger, but i was disappointed in this gun, the trigger pull is so hard you have trouble hitting anything. If you are older, like me with arthritic fingers i wouldn't recommend this gun, on the bright side its never misfired, like most Rugers , it gos bang everytime you manage to pull the trigger.

great conceal firearm a bought a clip that blends in with gun to make it a easy carry conceal weapon. Shoots great love the indicator at the to to reveal if gun is loaded. Nice 9mm my wife loves the size as well.

First LC family firearm for and although it was a decent shooting firearm that I didn't have any functionality issues with, it just had an off feel for me. The laser was almost dead on out of the box. The action was nice but the trigger was a little too heavy for how small the firearm is in my opinion.

I bought this gun for my wife. She has yet to shoot it but I carry it because of it's easier to conceal. My only complaint is that it is a bit small for MY hand. My little finger wiggles the clip and that worries me a bit. But, overall it has been a great value.

Dislike. Laser broke after a month. Stick with Kimber.

Shortly after I bought this, it was discontinued and replaced by the S model. Due to all the complaints with the long trigger pull, it was completely redesigned in that area. It is a subcompact and for what it is, Ive enjoyed it despite this common complaint. It does require a long pull but It is reliable (still no miss) and accurate.

I bought this gun for concealed carry and its perfect. Even with the long trigger pull its very accurate and smooth. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this LC9 for my wife to use, at home or the range, but she couldn’t stand the ridiculously long trigger pull and I would recommend the newer versions of the LC9 instead. Ruger has reportedly fixed the issues my wife was having with this older model. Buds delivered the LC9 to my FFL quickly, and the purchase itself was nice and easy.

Bought this just a couple of months before the LC9s came out. Yeah, its been awhile but every time I look at it, my blood pressure goes up. While new ones are no longer available, those thinking about a used LC9 - don't do it. Trigger is long and heavy with a ridiculously long reset. Grip angle is not optimal. The Lasermax on/off switch is well forward of the trigger and can't be activated without modifying my grip. There are trigger kits available with mixed results, some good and some not. I called Ruger to see if they would do a factory trigger job to help a loyal Ruger owner (I have other Rugers) and the answer was an emphatic "no". The mistake was mine by not researching it a bit more. It is now a safe queen. The good: It is reasonably accurate at 7 yards and reliable but still, its a horrid little pistol. Buds service was excellent!

I got the LC9 w Lasermax a few weeks ago but just had a chance to run 100+ rounds through it. Not 1 FTF or FTE (speaking of FTE the casings were FLYING out of this thing landing a good 10 ft away!!!) When I first got it and racked the slide I was having problems getting hollow points to to cycle through it and would jamb but I think that was just it being new and tight. The more I racked the slide the better it got so that when i took it shooting, it worked with no problem at all. I like the thumb safety rather than the LC9S safety trigger. That long trigger pull everyone complains about means to me I am sure I want to pull that trigger. The Lasermax was dead accurate at 25-30 ft right out of the box. Not a bit of adjustment necessary. At 45-50 it hit about 3-5 inches lower than aim but that was expected considering how accurate it was at 25-30. I was expecting a hard recoil due to how light this thing is but it was MUCH better than expected. A great CCW for anyone and a perfect CCW for women if they are looking for a small and accurate weapon they can put in their purse. I bought a shoot through holster that I am still waiting on but if it works as well for me as my buddy's did for his bodyguard I'll be extremely happy. I have one complaint and to be fair, it's getting better. When I pulled down on the slide stop to chamber a round it was a two thumb process. It's getting better and better so that's no longer a concern. I'm thinking a break in period. I am really happy with the accuracy, design and performance of this weapon. HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for a small CC!! Price is right and the quality is outstanding!!
