Customer Reviews for Tikka T3 Lite .300 WSM Bolt-Action Rifle

You gotta love the Tikkas with their added diameter at the muzzle of approx. .090" of most other rifles in their class and for $476, it saved enough to get a nice 50mm Leupold for it. I've installed Limbsaver recoil pads on all of my Tikka magnums per reviews of the Limbsaver. It is a must have and a huge improvement over the stock pad. No need for any muzzle break on this thing, even for my Tikka in 338 Win mag.

Tikka has the smoothest action on the market. I am a huge fan of Berretta, that is why I chose this gun. Buds has the best price hands down and was a breeze to buy from!! I have not fired the gun yet. I will say it was a little difficult finding the right scope mounts for this gun but other than that it seems to be a very fine gun! Lift the bot up and tilt the gun up slightly and the bolt will slide to the fully opened position! I have owned several Bolt action rifles in the past and none would do this out of the box. Hope to have some time off in the next week or so to go to the range to shoot it. Great gun for an even better price, what else can I say about it?

Excellent gun indeed. Very smooth action, very light and very capable. I've hunting with this gun for about two seasons now and WILL NOT go back to my Remington. As for accuracy: Less than 1/2" grouping at 100 yards with the Federal Fusion 180 grain. All you need is a Barrel De-Resonator from Limbsaver which is about $20.00 at your local sporting goods store. Excellent gun and an excellent price!

Excellent gun. Very light, very smooth, and very accurate as long as you don't use any type of bonded bullets. I've shot many different types of bullets from this gun and the only bullets that will group well were the Win BST or the Federal Solid Base Boat tail. 1/2 groups with these bullets. Accubond, Fusion, and XP3 did not do well at all. 3 inch groups was the best I could get with these bonded bullets. I've concluded that any bonded bullet will not shoot well in this gun. The exception could be the Nosler Partition by Federal. It's very simular to the Solid Base so I would assume they would also shoot pretty well, but I have never tried them.
